My surgery is tomorrow morning at 10:30... no driving for 1 week. When I ordered it, I had no idea I had to wait that long. One week later won't be too late if there is a problem with it.

Good luck Tom!

I know it'll be hard not driving your Mustang for that long, but think of the dicipline I have! (or stupidity )

Check out the headlight and fog bulbs this guy got. They look pretty dam good IMO. He bought them off ebay but I found that American Muscle is selling them. Heck of alot cheaper than buying HID's.

Leo... the DRL install guide is ready.
Those aren't in my future as of now. Maybe when I run out of mods to do.

That really stinks. I've been wanting to use this one for awhile.

I ran a set of these type of 'white' bulbs in my Vette a while back. Although they were advertised as some kind of 'super white' bulbs, I got popped by the Police for having 'blue' headlights! (Pure white starts to take on blueish hue to it)

Also noticed that they didn't really illuminate the road very well at night even though I was running the higher wattage bulbs. I'm pretty sure it was the blue coating on them that although it they appeared really bright, they did a poor job at lighting up the road.

For me, I'm sticking with the stockers, unless Saleen has some blowout sale on their HID kit.

I wanted to pop in to say I just got back home (9:00pm eastern time). Overall, everything went ok, except for a little problem involving a catheter (yuck). I'll write more tomorrow when I'm able.

Too bad, we're having great convertible weather right now, 80's and no rain. If you want, when I stop by, I'll strap you in the passenger seat and take you for a spin.

You know it'll just make you want a convertible even more!

I would probably take you up on this a few days from now. But tomorrow may be a bit soon even in the passenger seat (Shelly had to pull over 3 times on the way home from the hospital for me to out the door).

Well, apparently, one of the side effects of anesthesia is the loss of the ability to urinate on your own. You can feel it, but you just can't make it happen (kinda like when there is a guy on each side of you at the urinals!). So, I was given until 7:30 to "go" on my own, which I couldn't, so they had to use a catheter. Actually, it wasn't really that bad... the nurse was right, she said it was going to be more embarrassing than painful. And the thought of it was more painful than her actually doing it. It wasn't too embarrassing, either. The nurse even kidded with me and said they always have the "old" nurse do it. Lucky for me, the sexy RN that prepped me for surgery didn't have to do it!

I'm sure you'll all be happy to know, that the reason I'm up again now is because I felt the "urge"... and was able to go with the flow.

Bill, the reversal (kinda) of your car made it on Mustang World:

Wow, surgery sure sounds like fun!

I bet everyone driving by seeing you yaking on the side of the road was thinking 'this poor chap had too much to drink!'.

It was dark, so nobody could see.

Well, you don't look your "fullest" when all this is going on, so Aunt Flossy was fine.

I sent a request in to Doug asking for a Race Tune handout.

No reply yet (he probably said, 'Yeah right' and deleted it).

I'm really interested in trying out the Race Tune. In hindsight, I should've got all 3 of the 91 tunes. The 87 is worthless, if I have to run it, I'll just flash it back to stock.
