Just got of the phone with mustangsunlimited and found out you can only get the headlight with that ulgy chrome housing. So I guess I'll be sticking to my stock lights for now. I just want something that doesn't look yellow like the stocks do. I read a thread on here about the sylvania ones but the guy took pics and you couldn't even tell the difference so I guess I'm just stock with these. There's no way I'm paying 800 for the saleen ones when they don't even offer a matching hid foglamp set.

Mike, Hate to go against the grain here, but I say .

Paint code mix was probably okay, but once sprayed on whatever primer they used combined with the material those louvers are made out of, is where you're getting your mismatch.

Like Tom mentined, PW is difficult to match, but it is possible. If you decide to get it repainted, I'd bring them to a shop that'll custom match the color to your body, which will mean a slight deviation from your paint code.

If my CDC spoiler was just a shade off, it would not be installed right now.

 

I agree with you. I'm ok with the forums having authorized advertisers, and I'm all for capitalism, but it would be nice if it were on topic and not interrupting our thread. I'm not sure what the rules are for authorized advertisers, but this appears to be abuse of them.

Holy crap! Tom took me for a ride in his 89 trooper with his built up stroker and I thought I was on the space shuttle ride at Disney. I got pushed back in my seat like I never have before, and I'm 50! No kidding, I've driven Cobras, Trans Ams, and the like. Nothing compares to the way his Mustang pulls. Good ride, Tom.

 

No surprise, from a guy who builds and maintains Disney's thrill rides. Sounds like a fun time. Maybe one day I'll get a ride....
