Really need to head to where my dad is from, pretty close to here, probably just train there though, not a big fan of parking and leaving Betty somewhere strange.

I was out for a walk today and about a half mile into it I decided to run a little. Should have known better. Made it about 100 yards and my left ankle and right knee said hell no. Excruciating pain in the ankle, felt like an ice pick being jammed through the joint, and the knee not much better. Had to limp all the way back to the house.
Ruined my drive in the 500 on this beautiful day. Could hardly work the clutch, and could barley get in and out with the knee. Probably wont be able to get around tomorrow, knee still aching, and ankle screams every time I move it. Stupid ****ing arthritis, old injuries, old age, etc.

Yes. I couldn't really say because I don't drive it that much. Probably about 2000 miles or so since I put them in. The only problem I've found with them is that the pile is really thick. It feels great because of that, but the problem is that your right heel makes a serious divot where it rests from working the gas pedal. You have to take it out regularly and vacuum that spot well with a nozzle type vacuum attachment to fluff it up.
I'd say if you didn't do that, it would wear down to the backing in that spot fairly quickly.

Hey - boy wonder here. Guess what I just finished doing? Feeding horses by myself! Yep - Surgeon gave me a clean bill of health today for feeding (10# at a time), and cleared me for driving!! They harped & harped on waiting 30 days but said I'm good to go (cautiously) - and it isn't even 3 weeks til Friday. Yet the incision looks great, lungs sound clear, oxy uptake = 100%, bp back to my normal of 120/82.
Also had a very encouraging discussion on what to expect for the next phase with the next doc, as this surgeon had friend who had a similar thymus situation (though larger) + cardio issues, and he's kickin it at 5 yrs and going strong.
Great day and I feel good!!

Here are the ones I got
http://www.blueovalindustries.com/ad...or/fm1565.html
Its comes with rears as well. 10x better quality than the originals. They're rubber backed so liquid wont go all the way through, and the back has nibs on them so they don't slide around. The hooks match up with the factory tabs, and I like the extra flap that goes up where the dead pedal would be.
Free shipping, and I got them in 2 days. But I think they are in Va., so they're not far away.
I couldn't hump in a car if I wanted too these days.

I've got Lloyd mats in my GT. Love them, but Lee is right, there's a pretty significant dent from my right heel and my left to be honest from the clutch pedal. Definitely nice mats though!
