They closed ours down for new houses now closest is two hours away. I miss the midnight drags.

Truth spoken right there. It is an amazing experience, the best part is how close to the car and everything you can get. Not like any other type of racing.

I don't know anyone who would want to go with me. Wish they'd just open a track near here. They've been hinting at one for years but nothing ever happens.

Sounds all to familiar. Long island Ny use to have a track But it got sold for the land and now there are house on it. But now I have to go to NJ to race. Which has gotten expensive with tolls and and Gas prices going up. I been up in the air about racing at all this year.

Jim that means you must have gone past my area a lot of times since i am north of there, i am hoping to go there this summer....i've wanted to go for a while, car shows and car meets are fun, but i want to see the adrenalin rush!

Same with the track on Oahu, closed before I got there and they didn't see it opening again. Then they have to crack down on street racing, really!

Same thing! They would get noise complaints Saturday night. It was fun. Now it's all houses. Closest is in Orlando now which is two hours south! Went once but it's a hell if a trip. :/
