every team makes plenty of money, but steinbrenner ruined it for everyone by paying stupidly high salaries to players, so now they buy anyone they think is worthy. As does Boston and Philly. They've got terrible farm systems, just buy players. That's why some teams like Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Arizona, etc have hard times winning, all their good players are bought up by the huge teams. And I **** sure wouldnt pay the ridiculous ticket prices to go to those parks.
The Braves are strong every year, and have one of the lowest payrolls in MLB, and will be even lower after Chipper retires at the end of the year.
