I love the middle of winter - where you're acclimated - like Feb with a foot of snow all over like the angels covered everything in shaving cream. On a perfectly still cloudy day. No wind, no breeze, not a peep out of anything... and you can actually hear the snow falling.
Then a few days later when the storm has passed and its bright blue above and the sun is glaring off the bright snow.
Even better, after midnight on a full moon where the moonlight glistens little sparklies on the snow and you don't need any artificial light to feed the horses. Faint smell of the wood smoke from the chimney up at the house. Horses nickering waiting for their food.

Suck it algore, my V8 played zero role in that.
Have you seen the size of those low pressure systems coming out of Gulf of Alaska already? They look more like December than September.

Not once did I ever complain that it was too hot! Even when we had a 130 degree heat index.

I was always in Tahoe or Mt Shasta. Closest we have now from what Im told is Tennesee!
But I have a wrap around porch around my house so I can go out & sit wherever wrapped up in a blankie at night w/ some coffee & just relax...i love it!
