Hummus is ok. Not sure what the hell youre supposed to do with it though. I'm not gonna eat it like a mound of mashed potatoes or a bowl of beans. It's pretty good thrown on a pita with all the other Greek food on it also like a burrito. By itself, it's just confusing and not very exciting.
A condiment I also usually fix is a garlic sauce - pretty easy to make since its about 50 or 60 cloves either mashed up in a mortar or if I'm lazy pureed in a blender or food processor then mixed with lemon juice and salted to taste and mixed with olive oil until I get the consistency where I like it. I use that stuff like gravy on my hummus - the stuff is also awesome on barbecued chicken.
Hummus is pretty straight forward to make
3 cans of chick peas (strain the liquid and reserve it to adjust the consistency after pureeing the beans).
3-4 cloves of fresh garlic ground to a fine mash in a mortar
2/3 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice
3 tablespoons of tahini (ground sesame seed)
Salt to taste
I like to mix the garlic, tahini, lemon juice and some salt along with a half a can to a can of chick peas before I add the rest and adjust the consistency both to make sure everything is well mixed up and to avoid excessively processing the beans because they can get bitter if the mixer heats them up to much (although I do like to process my hummus into a fine paste).
That's the base right there, the best part about hummus is the variety of tastes you can achieve by adjusting the lemon - tahini - garlic - salt, or the brand of beans or the addition of other ingredients.
Traditionally IIRC its served with paprika sprinkled on the surface and drizzled with olive oil but I've used chopped fresh vegetables just setting on the surface to give it a different taste along with adding things like hot peppers stirred into the hummus as well.
Anyways, like I said fresh hummus blows away whatever they pour out of a can or scoop from a container.

I had an amazing pizza tonight at a little place called Toscana. They had a wood fired pizza oven in the store. We got a cheese pizza for the younger kids and a pepperoni for me and Lauren. I've had it before and it was so good I couldn't wait to go back. Well both pizzas were perfect pizzas. I've never had a better thin crust pizza. The sauce was perfect the crust was perfect the right amount and type of cheese and the pepperoni was good and left the right amount of grease on the cheese. It was heavenly. I just couldn't stop eating it. Everytime I thought I was finished and couldn't eat another bite I grabbed another piece and ate more.

Just wish it didn't mess my stomach up so bad the next day. The cheese really messes me up these days, and I love it so much.

But who am I kidding? I'd do it again.

I normally don't have a problem with the acid reflux nowadays, its from the other end when I have a lot of dairy.

The chicken is okay but the teriyaki is not mixing well with the rice...getting sick from the smell. I hate that all teriyaki sauces are not the same. I might just have a grilled cheese
