Wow, I have waaaayyyyy too much time on my hands.
Don't know why I didn't realize it before, but it just hit me earlier. Elaine wasn't just surrounding herself with bizzaro people, she was actually becoming bizzaro Elaine by eating tuna, something regular Elaine would never do.

Fixing a big pack of chicken legs. Half bbq, half with Dale's and dusted with Cavender's Greek seasoning, turnip greens cooked with a hamhock, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, cornbread.

I love legs and leg quarters. Haven't fixed any in a while though. Legs get dried out quick on the grill, so I'm gonna split them up in two pans, one with chicken broth and bbq sauce from my buddy's place, the other with chicken broth and Dale's, sprinkled with Cavender's and bake them covered in the oven. Then take them out when they're close to done, and put them on the grill to brown them and crisp up the skin.

Eyes on the thighs!
I find (chicken) thighs to be the best, most usable part. Dirt-cheap, tender and easy to de-bone.
I get a big old bag of them, debone (google how) and pull the skin off and throw them in a large ziploc freezer bag.
Pour a bottle of teriyaki sauce in there and toss them in the fridge.
Take them out and mix it up a little every couple of hours, but leave them in overnight.
Next day, throw them on the grill and enjoy!
I like mine a little spicy so I will chop up some peppers or shake a little habanero sauce in there for a kick.
BTW, you can also freeze them in the bag with the marinade instead. By the time they thaw, they are well-marinated.

I love thighs too, that's why leg quarters are my favorite, get a leg and a thigh. I want the bone in and the skin on though. That's where the flavor is, and the skin keeps them moist.

tomorrow night will be BBQ chicken, and for v-day I'm gonna whip up a chicken alfredo manicotti recipe. Hoping it turns out as good as it sounds.
