Had to change the schedule, got a big supper planned for tomorrow night. Conecuh ham, pot of beans (pintos and white) cooked with some bones and trimmings from the ham, fried okra, mashed taters, mac and cheese, and cornbread.

Yee-haw! I had fried chicken laigs and sawmill gravy cooked in my "new" old iron skillets. Ladled the gravy over some white rice (racist!) and sliced some tomatoes on the side. Takes a whole mess of that stuff to kill a man.

We were supposed to have a date night but she she didn't feel like getting up all day, and then got mad at me because I didn't plan something. I'm like...we don't need to always have a plan!!
