Well that is better than dog food sandwiches. I ate those for a while. I had to stop due to the side effects. One day I was laying in the middle of the road licking myself and a truck almost ran me over.

Reminds me of a story I saw the other day.

Naked man doing push-ups in road hit by car and killed, Portland police investigating

Pasta Caprese. Caprese is an Italian salad that is simply slices of tomato topped with slices of mozzarella and fresh basil leaves. This dish adds pasta.

Dice tow or three Roma tomatoes and put them in a large bowl. Open a full container of mozzarella ciliegini (mozzarella cherries) packed in olive oil and herbs. We get ours at Trader Joe's, but they are likely available elsewhere. Cut the ciliegini in half and add them and all the olive oil and herbs to the tomatoes. Take several fresh basil leaves and cut them into smallish pieces and add them to the bowl. Cook some pasta (perhaps half a box of mini rotini works well), drain it and add it to the bowl. Stir it all around. You may wish to nuke it in the microwave for a minute as the mozzarella will have come out of the fridge and will be cold. That frequently chills the pasta rather than the other way around.

I have not included a photo as much of the joy of this dish is seeing how beautiful it is when you get it all put together. You'll have the red, white, and green of the Italian flag. This dish is simple and quick and delicious.

Oh, I can cook like a champ, but I've been doing a lot of outside work the last few weeks-- until dark many evenings-- and I don't have the time or energy to stand over the stove even to scramble a few eggs once I finally knock off for the night.

Canned chili FTW.

I reckon I'll have some of the bigguns, mmmmmhhhhmmmm.

One of my top 5 movies ever. Billy Bob Thornton is a ****ing genius in that movie. Wrote it, directed it, starred in it, produced it, etc. That is some serious ****ing talent. Every character in that movie was cast perfectly. Hell, most people that aren't fans don't even realize that my favorite actor is in it because its such a small part he plays, just a couple of lines.
