You won't hear me dissing Mayer, he by definition is a virtuoso. Then on the other hand you take Adam Levine. Believe it or not the guy can shred! I don't know if it's out there but search YouTube for his Purple Rain rendition from the Stern bday show. Phenomenal! But to listen Maroon 5 and their poppy crap is painful and no great guitar work to be found. Apparently that poppy crap is what sells today, uck.

I found this new site/app for music streaming, called Tidal. It specializes in lossless high fidelity audio. Its pointless if you're listening on computer speakers, but if you have good headphones or audio equipment, its the world of difference.
Anyway, learned about this guy on the Foo Fighters Sonic Highways documentary, during the Austin episode. Started listening to him on tidal and his live album is fantastic.
Check this dude out.
Edit: dont pay attention to the venue or crowd... realized what it was after i posted it. Its just a good performance.
