Don't know . . . that's why I just posted the link with no comment myself!

EDIT: 17 as of 11/12 and she is from London. (Love the internets knowledge!)

Glad we didn't comment!!

It's a good thing she's pretty.

I liked her interpretation of the song even though she went off-key a few times.

Killer song, most people have never heard it but its the heart of their music. Scott should love it, he should be familiar with it, but maybe not.

Don't get much better than this when it comes to Southern blues that have blended with rock and country.

Its one of those early songs that most people that aren't fans don't know about. It came out of the Hell House era. If your not familiar with Hell House, read through this from the great Ed King. There's a lot of cool history to this band if you dig into it, anyone that loves music should. There's some amazing stuff that surrounded these guys, they weren't just a bunch of rednecks that only sang Freebird and Sweet Home Alabama. There was some much deeper stuff going in there, and some incredible music and musicians.

Don't know how big of a fan you are Scott, or how much you have listened to the "One More From the Road" album recorded live at the Fabulous Fox Theater in Atlanta but there is some killer **** on there.Guitarist Ed King had recently quit the band and Ronnie was looking for someone to fill the spot. They had the "Honkettes" (female back up singers) with them by that time. One of the ladies, Cassie Gaines, had told Ronnie about her little brother Steve, a guitar player, singer, songwriter and that he was really good.

He eventually sat in with them and Ronnie was blown away by Steve (as he should have been, looking back now) and asked him to join the band. Ronnie took to Steve and connected immediately. Even in the short time they were together before the plane crash, Ronnie loved Steve like a brother and recognized his amazing talent. Even as talented as the band was he went so far as to say that the entire band would "all be in his shadow some day" when speaking of Steve.

Listening to "One more From the Road" its evident, there is some killer stuff in there. The triple lead guitars of Steve Gaines, Gary Rossington and Allen Collins playing together are mind blowing and that was what Ronnie was looking for.

Ever listened to their version of T for Texas (Blue Yodel #1) by Jimmie Rogers from the 1920's?

Here's one version of it from the Fox (just pics) but there's no mistaking Steve on that Gibson with a slide...

And here's a live video of it in England, Steve just ripping on that Gibson with a slide. Nothing in this world like a screaming Gibson in the right hands.

Another little tidbit of useless information, Ronnie would perform barefoot. He liked to feel the beat of the drums through the stage floor so he could stay in time and keep the performances tight, and he couldn't feel it with shoes on. If you notice, hes barefoot in the vid above in England.

Awesome. Gary Rossington and Allen Collins are some of the most underrated pickers in rock and roll. That is some serious **** right there.

Oh yeah Scott, don't know if you have the box set but have you heard the demo version of this? The second half instrumental is dropped because someone broke a string but its still fantastic.

IIRC it was recorded at the old hole in the wall Muscle Shoals studio in Al.
