We Need to Give Russia a Bloody Nose NOW!
I think the situation is much more serious than making jokes in regards to whats going on.
So basing your positions on history, do you understand your position in this? This is not a game, it involves life and death of everyone who participates on this forum.

Hollywood, have you the slightest idea whats going on around you? I'm not trying to be rude, I am asking you an honest question.

If you have a precise and salient point to make, then make it, man...don't spout jibberish.
Not trying to be rude.

What the hell are you ranting about, exactly? Do you think anyone here thinks any of this is some kind of JOKE?! This is life and death, man. And you **** sure better know something about how the real world operates; regional history; culture; how others view us; the true motivations of other players (not the over-hyped propaganda); and who the REAL threats are in this world...and where to apply force vs. diplomacy.

Whats up HollyWoods! My salient point for you to familiarize yourself with is a period of time between 1933-1939 in Germany. Familiarize yourself with the key families involved.
Once you come to a conclusion, don't panic. Shoot me a PM and we can't debate our options.
Lets keep the discussion non-toxic but realistic my fellow American! Here is a link to help you get started. Remember, don't panic. Remain calm, and make sure you own some type of aftermarket power adder for your Mustang. It may come in handy someday! LOL!

I'm still waiting for you to explain what it is you're trying to say - and why you apparently think my points are somehow erroneous. And what do any of them have to do with Hitler...other than to suggest that Putin could turn out to be another Hitler (which is a gross oversimplification, by the way, but which seems to support my discussion, not refute it).
Oh, and by the way, some basic, though obvious, fact research might be in order, brother: I'm not a "fellow American".
I'm a moose.

RUSSIA THREATENS NUCLEAR ATTACK ON POLAND!!
Looks like Putin is paying lip service to the cease fire agreement, without any intention of abiding by it. More than likely to buy time as part of his larger imperial strategy towards the region.
The West has SO been caught with its pants down around its ankles on this situation. We're impotent and Putin knows it. And he's gonna play it for all it's worth.
And you'd **** sure BETTER pay particular attention to these lines, folks, cause this guy ain't kiddin' around >>
Russia threatened a nuclear strike against Poland after a landmark deal to site American global anti-missile shields in the country.
General Anatoly Nogovitsyn said any new US assets in Europe could come under Russian nuclear attack with his forces targeting "the allies of countries having nuclear weapons".
He told Russia's Interfax news agency: "By hosting these, Poland is making itself a target. This is 100 per cent certain. It becomes a target for attack. Such targets are destroyed as a first priority."
Russia's nuclear rhetoric marks an intense new phase in the war of words over Georgia. The Caucasus conflict has spiralled into a Cold War style confrontation between Moscow and Washington in less than a week.

Yeah, this is some scary stuff here......leaders on power trips and the desire to be king of the hill. Unfortunately I think our pending Election here is a reason for these people to start flexing their muscles....and our election is scary enough without worries of this kind of crap with Iran and Russia.
Well. Russia does "claim" they "will" sign the peace accord. But, until that actually happens, they continue to punish Georgia, for their invasion of the region, by destroying any and all military paraphanallia they come accross (seek out). I think any withdrawal by Russia, will be interpited by them only to retreat to within the sectors that Georgia invaded. They will not go back behind their lines. Thank you GW. It's the Poland agreement that is causing this.
I ended up catching some foreign news on the issue last night, I never did figure out what channel it was... they spoke like it was the BBC but there was no logo on the screen. Anyways, it's amazing the different take that different news agencies have on the issue. The program I watched last night told a completely different story than what's reported here.

That still in no way diminishes the fact that Putin wants to extend Russia's sphere of influence back to Soviet days. His goal is hegemony within that region, and the United States (and to a lesser extent Georgia), have furnished him with just the excuse he was looking for to engage in belligerent action.

I don't think that Russia is even listening that Bush is saying and they probably won't listen if McCain wins the election. It seems to me that the world might be friendlier to the USA if Obama wins.

This whole crew are aggressive combined with incompetent. That's a recipe for disaster. All they've done is erode good will and diminish America's standing in the world.
And Putin is taking full advantage of this.
