I'm just watching getting caught up and watching now. I'm really getting tired of Hatchet Harry.

I finally put my finger on what it is about her voice, its got a Stevie Nicks vibe to it.

And it just hit me tonight in Caleb's performance that he sounds like the dude from Audioslave. Did you pick up on that tonight? Took me a few minutes to figure out exactly who I was thinking of, then it came to me a few minutes ago.

 

I've totally missed it so far tonight. So glad for the DVR.

You mean Chris Cornell? Hint: He was/is the lead singer in Soundgarden. Audioslave was made up of Chris Cornell and the remaining members of Rage Against The Machine, all forming shortly after RATM broke up due to De La Rocha leaving.

 

Yeah, but when he was singing tonight a familiar song kept popping into my head from the tone and inflection of many of the lyrics he was singing but I couldn't place it. Then it came to me, Like a Stone, and that's what I was thinking when I posted earlier.

Listen to his performance tonight again and see if you catch what I'm talking about.
