Flipping through the channels I accidentally caught what may have been the best performance of the night. A young man I would call the Puerto Rican Clay Aiken. Sang in English and broke into Spanish and really did a great job.

 

Are you kidding me?? Rachel was billions times better than the blonde girl who couldn't sing. Just when I thought I found my favorite.

 

Excited for three nights this week.

You really didn't miss much. Not trying to put down older music, but so much of the time it just sounds karaoke on shows like these.

 

That is because most of the contestants are so average.
I think theme nights show who has real talent and who is a poser/karaoke star.

Let's face it, if you can't sing a Beatles' song, you simply suck out loud.

I wanted them to keep playing Rush when they opened the show. I bet Angie is the one that sings Evanescence tonight. I remember saying when the show first started that her voice reminds me of Amy Lee. I love her voice.
