It's more for business/server stuff. Looking at it more, it may not even work for you but it's worth a shot. I've got one other idea off the top of my head, but you won't want to do it...lol.

I don't want to mess with that either. Holy ****, is there not a easy way to fix it. Lol. I think I'll just keep it locked and stay signed in. I really hate this thing :/

No!! I can't even change that ugly *** picture. Windows 8.1 will be out soon. It's a free update and the start will be coming back.

7 never gives me issues. And so far as of now runs all my games and apps. Most likely won't make the switch till I'm forced too.

I can change it here, but you said it returns when you log out. This PC is set up as a local user so I don't have a log out option. I'll have to go try it on the media center PC since that one is set up like that.

I changed it, logged out, and rebooted and the change stayed.
