Speaking of Walkmans

I remember in like 1982 or so my dad taking a business trip to Indonesia. On his way back he had a stop over in Tokyo and picked up an original first gen Walkman cassette player for my brother. When he opened it we all sat in amazement at how small it was. Lol

 

Sounds like the first time people saw my *****.

 

Any reason a hard drive array would change its name on its own??? Updated the server last night. The raid partition was lost on startup. Turns out it renamed itself from md127 to md5. So I made the changed in the configuration to look for md5 instead of md127. Rebooted. Changed again to md0... now its staying there. Changed the configuration again for md0. Rebooted 10 or so times and it hasn't changed again. Need to see if I can figure out what exactly updated.

 

When I was a kid I bought a Walkman portable CD player with anti skip for 5 bucks at a garage sale. That was the best portable CD player I ever had.

 

I did some more playing around... are you logging in with a Microsoft account or Local account?

 

 

I think it's a Microsoft account. Seems like I had to set one up when I got it.

Decided to go with the Galaxy S4 when I get back to the States. Hopefully I like it.

 

I think you will. It's a good phone. I just got a Galaxy Express yesterday, and I'm loving it so far.

 

We'll see soon enough. Just over three weeks!

 

What do you have currently?

 

iPhone 4, so either way it should be a big upgrade.

 

You'll have some adjusting to do, but I find Android to be much more intuitive.

 

Still on the fence. iOS 7 will be out in the Fall and maybe a new iPhone as well.

 

Rumor is 5s in sept. I know going from a 4 to a 5 was a huge jump for me.

 

I did the same thing. Big difference.

5s will be in early September. So it debuts with iOS7 before everyone else gets it in October.

 

Has me thinking of waiting and getting that instead. Have an unlocked 4 I can use until then.
