It's a scam. You may have some spyware malware virus type threats on it. I would turn it off for now. I can give you a better instructions tomm when I am on a computer but for the moment a couple of programs to run is spybot and malwarebytes. Make sure they are fully updated before running. You may have to go into safe mode to get full benefits however. I'm on app and doubt I get on pc tonight so ill do a better write up for a full clean tomm. What version of windows is on it. Main thing I'd do is turn it off for the moment. If anyone has done anything with passwords, especially banking stuff. On that computer, I'd have them change passwords ASAP from a different computer.

Just FYI, no virus scan is 100%. Some are better than others. But they are purely a reactionary type protection. They can't protect against what they don't know about and viruses are produced quicker than the av devs can produce definitions to clean them. Just explaining how you can get a virus still having a virus protection program on your pc.

Oh yeah he needs to scan but if his av didn't catch anything by now especially if its updated he needs other tools.

It woks great, but it's not for viruses, more malware spyware. If you crap toolbars and pop ups it's great

 

Also kaspersky virus removal tool is great and free. Just need to go into settings and max all of them out, be warned it'll run for hours

That's what I've heard but I haven't used it too much, I normally use malwarebyte and occasionally run spybot to see it it picks up something.

 

Spy it's immunize feature is awesome. Keep it updated tho

 

My personal belief is if she truly thinks you will really kill her, she won't tell anyone.
