Careful, you'll get the "back to topic" police after you.

I find them all to have pretty good chemistry when "out in the world" such as in the challenges or when they all got blitzed on hooch. In the studio all three are rough and stiff.

Overall I really like Adam as the non-car guy and Tanner is growing on me as the car guy. being familiar with Adam's comedy I imagine much of his is edited out, while Tanner just seems to be trying too hard to be a good boy. Rutledge I don't like personally, he's a bit too much of a stereotype and I just find his voice annoying. But when he's having fun with the other 2 he improves 100%.

With US network commercials and editing, I think they need to find a slightly more narrow sweet spot than BBC's Top Gear. Minimize the Studio segments to just some news and Big Star - Small Car, maximize their time out doing stuff.

This ^^.

I just looked it up, and only watched the first 2 minutes of it. In that 2 minutes I already had an ear to ear grin, bobbing my head to a kick *** song that fit perfectly, and had that sense of anticipation in my gut that you felt on Christmas eve as a kid, and it was only showing clips of what's to come this season.

That is the difference.

And if anyone is interested, here's the whole episode.

Thanks for the link. The American top gear can't hold a candle to these guys. My suggestion for new hosts: Tim Allen, Jay Leno and Mike Rowe.

Sad thing, Tanner Foust hosted all of the Taurus videos for Ford, do you think he would have supported a former employer.

For all the complaining I do about this show I watched another episode lol. I have my nitpicks, but I enjoyed it for the most part.

Tim Allen is on it next week!

For some reason when I was watching this episode, out of nowhere someone popped into my mind that would make a good host for this show. Travis Pastrana.

I just think he would be a good fit. He's into motorsports of all kinds, he's extremely likable, and he just seems like a genuine down to earth person that people can relate to.

I like it to be honest ... Also remember that Top Gear when it first started out SUCKED even the producer said that plus how many attempts is this outside of the British Version have failed. So far I think this is a good one that will get better with time ... But like previously stated more outside time less studio time, no need to follow the British version exactly.

As much as they poke fun at America and Americans, they sure looked like they were having fun doing quintessential American shenanigans.

Easy now. No reason to break out the knee pads for the guy.

I just watched 3rd season of TG Australia. I gotta say they got two new guys and thier chemistry is very very good. This was a great season for TGOZ just very short. Oh and they even had an episode where they went against Jeremy and crew in some challenges. Was very very good. The new crew definetly looks like they are having fun and carving thier own show where TG USA is just mimicking TGUK. If TGUSA can last and make a few cast changes it might have a good chance of boing good but they need to take a lesson from TGOZ.
