i wonder if this season is gonna be like truck themed... the past 3 episodes have been 4x4 related in some way.... the first one being the last challenge w/ all their cars being converted to 4x4 mini monster trucks.

Yeah...that kit car Ferrari was pretty funny.
How about the girl (can't remember her name) that had the best "celebrity in a small car" lap time ? Seems as if she just kept it floored and didn't really think to hard about driving - except when she ran over the finish flag at the end

Just watched the "Best 4x4" episode (re-run I believe)...Not too bad.
Though some of their "comparison" segments seem kinda lame.
They should just call it the "Three guys doing stupid sh*t with Cars" show...

i shook my head when rutledge said the CTS-V had the same engine from the ZR1.... that was like saying the Ford GT came from the Lightning (Jeremy Clarkson)

Maybe it's just me, but I just spent all day watching all 5 episodes from Season 2 and Season 1 was so much better. I love that "the best 4x4" episode with Bronco.

I still wouldn't put them in the same league as TGUK, but I rather enjoy the show. I think they've done a much better job adapting the format to deal with commercials this year, no small accomplishment since even BBC America struggles with this when re-cutting the original for airing in America. I think all three of them are still too wooden in the studio, but together on the road they make a passable trio. Still rough spots, like every time Wood gets solo airtime, but they're doing OK IMO.

Powered metal rods and cast pistons, plus the blower might not be a TVS. The LS9 can take way more abuse compared to the LSA (CTS-V engine). the Camaro guys are secretly hoping for a detuned LS9 though.

Oh, I love them. I think its the best looking one of the bunch, but its just not in the same performance category as the other two. It's more muscle car, they're pony cars. If I had the room, I'd probably have one. I think it would be the best of the 3 for a cruiser, grand touring car. And they've had a 6-speed since the 2nd year, the first year was the only one that was auto only.

But completely agreed that they just look like a miscle car should. Sound like it too! Very well executed car but just out of the pony car realm. If i wanted a boulevard cruiser that could comfy road trips then ill take a 392 over anything else!

infineon raceway they raced on... that track was in GT4. i thought that was a real good episode. i think they should compare Adam and Rutledges driving skills in a 1 on 1 competition around some tracks in the same car or 2 stock cars and have Tanner grade them or just have him do something else... for a future episode.
