How much $$ should I ask for for my interior after I take it out. Black/Dove front and rear deluxe leather seats. No side airbags but both front seats are powered with heaters. 2 small cuts in the back of the pass seat. It's when my wife brought a small knife in a cloth bag to a car show to cut her fruit with. It stuck though the cloth bag and stabbed the seat twice.
Hey Darrell,
Hope you don't let my issues selling my car influence you but it has not gone well. If fact my ad on Racing Junk.com lapsed this past week and I will not renew it. Fact is both Karen and I have new jobs and the reason for selling it is now gone. So it looks like she is going to stay for now. There is a young kid at work (23 I think) and lives at home with his parents came driving in a new Camaro ZL1. It is supercharged with I think 580hp. It really is not a very attractive car but it sure does sound good. List price on the sticker was $62,000

Not really wanting to sell my car I just need reasons to spent more money on it. A guy working my job on another team is going in for back surgery Aug 2. Looks like 12 hr shifts from than till the 1st of the year again.
Also taking in the Focus today for service. It is almost undriveable. It stumbles out 1st gear and almost dies than there is a grinding noise before it kicks in. I already know what they will tell me. That its normal and all focuses do it.

Well there's your answer Darrell. Don't spend anymore money on the Mustang, spend some on the Focus. Forged and blown 2.0 liter stroker!

My car could use plenty of new mods. Feel free to make it your next project if your money is burning holes in your pockets. It could really use a power Disc brake conversion. (hint hint)... the thing is a death trap.

Well maybe that is normal for Focus's up you way but not down here. Got 18K on mine and nothing but tire rotations and oil changes. Maybe whatever is wrong is why you are getting such sucky gas mileage. And I think you need to spend you hard earned bucks on a Brenspeed forged stoker engine. Get that HP up around the 800 mark to haul your butt around.

Well took the focus in and they updated the software on the transmission and took me that the dash gauge that shows 28mpg is 10mpg off but all is normal. The grinding noise is also normal. If you go to focus forum board there are 22 pages of complaints about the trans. Ford is telling everybody this id normal. There are also several utube video's that you can hear the grinding noise. One video showed how the throttle body keeps clicking after you shut the car off, I told my wife at least we don't have that problem. Then she tells we do. Sometimes she stays in the car when I go into a store and she says she hears it all the time. On the ride home I reset the mpg gauge. It got up to 50mpg on the way home by 30 miles later it was back to 28. Also the trans is still the same. Scottie is yours a stick of auto?

So Monday I'm going in to trade for a Focus ST or an Escape.

Glenn do you still have the directions for Franknmuffler.

Ours is an auto trans car. And we are at 18K on the clock and have never seen any of the issues you are having. So I don't think they are normal.

drag about your current focus and no real directions on the mufflers other than to cut the top open and cut a bunch of holes in the baffles. I'll see if I can find some pictures

I would like to see the inside of the muffler after all the final cuts were made. I gutted the bulkhead with the inlet pipe and got rid of the 2 other pipes. Also took out the center bulkhead. Then cut as large an opening as I could in the outlet pipe. To hot ot mess with them today maybe tomorrow I'll play with them.
