I just went back and read the first twenty pages of this thread. Man we all seemed so much more passionate about our cars back then. Also reminded me of some members that we've "lost" along the way. Hopefully they will find their way back and say hi sometime. Was 2007 really that long ago?
Not feeling the need much anymore to mod endlessly either. I get to just a few car shows anymore as well. With me, the necessary evil of work has greatly reduced my spare time the past few years.
I do still visit the web site & forums alot, just don't post as much as before.
We did have a great time on here & the few get togethers back then

if I had the cash I would still add a few more mods, also don't seem to as interrested in making my car is spotless as possible all the time anymore. yea its clean but not spotless.

Believe this or not. I haven't even driven my Stang yet this year. I had the chin spoiler repainted over the winter and got the car cleaned up to sale and haven't driven it yet cause I want it to look nice for the sale which isn't moving along very fast. I am finding out the hard way that my extensive modifications scare the average person away. Just need to find the right guy I guess.

Lets take a good look at Mustang passion.
Tom- sold his tricked out Mustang to a little o' Nun but kept his old vert.
Scottie- sold his 69 Mach 1 to an Arab skiek for his private collection and now wants to sell his 05 to buy a couple of Rocking chairs for his front porch.
Gary- still has his private collection of nice Mustangs (and a Raptor)
Glenn- still has his LL Mustang
Lance- still trying to make the Frankenstang work.
Larry- upgraded to a Boss302
Stoner- still driving the silver stang
Cody- sold his nice stang but his wife lets him keep the old one
Nick- still has the blue stang
Dirk- had to sell his project stang
and me- just installed over a thousnad dollars worth of suspension and looking to add new 18 x 10 rims so I can use 295/30/18 Hoosier A6 tires on Racing weekends. Probably will need a new clutch by next spring.
Lets go Racing boys

Man I hate FedEx. The panhard bar I sold was sent in a 1/4" thick wall tube with half a roll of gray duct tape on each end. The buyer states he was a empty tube with 1 end busted out. The bar was actually 1/4" to long on both ends so there was no movement allowed. FedEx asked if I actually had some thing in the tube. I told them to get the tube and weight it. They weighted the total package at 10ibs. If the empty tube weights 10 lbs. I'll drop my complaint. More to come on Monday.

No, duct tape is NOT fine. I don't know if you're joking around or not.. But i'll argue with you about this all day. I'm the shipping expert, not you. 
Duct tape adhesive is very soft and is made to go on metal and plastic ducts. Not cardboard boxes. The soft adhesive can and will come off during shipment and if the smallest tag comes loose, it can stick to machinery, or another box, and next thing you know, the entire half-a-roll of duct tape that you have on your package is unraveling in the shipping system.
Plus if you didn't have anything padding the contents of your box... That's a problem too..
