Woe Darrell. Your driving style is much smooth today then when you started. Big improvement.

Success today at the SBR Solo event. I got 4th out of 6 cars. Again I had lots of fun. The best car in my class was at 48 sec. I did a best of 52.7. Only a little over 4 sec. differents. The start of the season I was 8 sec. behind.

Hey Darrell,
I have no opinion on the X brace but you will love the Focus. I have a 2012 with about 4300 miles on it and it is a awesome car. It is very quite, rides great, very comfortable, has lots of options and is getting 37-38 MPG driving to work every day. I think it can get 40+ if just driven on the highway only. Beats the hell out of 14 mpg or 17 mpg my truck and stang gets. Drove it last week for a total of 370 mile and cost $34 to fill up. Mine is a candy apple red 5 door model.

You guys will love it. Ours has everything but the park assist and moon roof . We live in the country and neither one of us has paralleled parked a car in 30 years. It was a waste for us. We ordered ours and was able to get everything we wanted. Ours is also an auto trans car. Ours was like $25,500 out the door....tax tiltle and all. Hell of a car for the bucks.

What a freakin hassle. started at 8:30 this morning with tryin to get the Ford Dealer to sent some papers to my Credit Union so they could cut me a check. Finally at 4pm I was able to get all the wires uncross to be able to pick up the new car. to many gadgets and there ain't even a key just a fob with puch button start. Pictures later.I got a freakin headache.

You should be able to pull the fob apart and there is a key in half of it inside. But only if battery is dead.

There might be a key to open the door but you ain't going to start anything, theres no hole to put it in.

Don't worry, you'll grow to love it. You can unlock the car, start it, etc without removing any keys from your pocket.

Also, not crazy about that X brace you posted. The way it mounts to the car looks too flimsy. Looks more showy than functional.
