Midwest TMS'ers General Communication Thread
Well here I sit at work. Contract was up at midnight last night. Company doesn't want to lock us out and the Union doesn't want to strike. Working day by day and I have no idea what my hourly wage is or if I still have Med coverage.

Hey Bill...welcome to the forum. I suspect the mills in Steubenville are not forgien owned like the mill Darrell works for. Right?
They are........Unfortunately. They are all basically shut down, except Weirton Steels Tin Mill plant. All surrounding buildings in Steubenville and other close cities are about to have a bulldozer run through them and sold for scrap
Extremely depressing. No work, no benefits, and NO healthcare for the men and women due to the companies filed bankruptcy.

Good call. I've got to work on my Fox this winter; it's had an issue with running hot for some time now and the other day, it died on me while driving. First time in 20 years that has happened. It restarted and ran ok while I pooched it home for a few miles at low speed, but now it won't start. It turns and tries to start but won't fire up. Gotta figure out the first place to look.

Pull a spark plug wire off and stick it on your tongue and have someone crank the engine. If you are still alive after that light a match and look down the fuel fill hose and see if there is any gas. Get back with me and I will help you more after we find out the results of the first two test.
