Howdy Gents
hope all is well with everybody. I just went back to work after a weeks vacation. The video is last Sundays scca autocross. Only 1 other car in my class a 1986 Olds Cutlass. I'm thinking I might not come in last place. MMMM It is a custom built race car that has have a small article in Hot Rod Magazine. With my new tires he only beat me by 1 sec.

Great video Darrel.....Much...much smoother this ride. I kept on wanting to push the gas for you but I am sure you were going as fast as you could at all times. Hard to get the real sense of the speed you are going in a video.

Well guys hopefully I will be getting on a plane outta here tomorrow for Bagram. Then hopefully I can get to Kuwait shortly after I get to Bagram. Once I get to Kuwait I will be done with half my journey.

We got in 8 runs apiece. started the day at registration at 830, tech at 9, walk the coarse at 930, drivers meeting at 10, 1st car off at 1030, lunch at 1215, 2nd session at 1245, awards at 330.
Look up your area 's SCCA club and see when they run their Solo events and go and watch them, you'll be hooked. Lots of different classes. I never get out of 2nd gear but it feels like your doing 80mph. It doesn't hurt your car (well maybe the tires) and out of the 3 times I have raced not 1 car was been damage or hurt. Some spin outs and some damage plastic cones but lots of smiles on your face.

Current location is Bagram Airfield. i kinda like it here since there are ALOT of HOT Air force chicks
Awaiting roll call for a flight to Kuwait at 5:15pm. It is 1:15 now. hopefully I will be on that flight. If not then try again tomorrow.

Yeah I got a few from the time I was in Afghanistan. I might post some.
Ok here is another update........
Still in Kuwait and still waiting for the comapny to get off their butt and get me a ticvket outta here. If I dont get it for tonight then I will be prolly getting it for tomorrow which will put me in the states on the 4th. I really hate this company. Now I cant spend the 4th with my daughter for the first time.

Yes, I'm afraid I'm still in South Bend for the time being. I have not moved back to Milwaukee yet. That's probably put off again on account of (I can't afford to) because (of being unemployed).
I do have an interview tomorrow, though. I am hopeful.
