Actually it is a disapointment.....suppose to get 10-12" and high winds with big drifting. We got maybe 5-6" and hardly any wind. They hyped this thing thing the storm of the decade. I'll be more worried when they forecast 1-3" That's when we will get a foot.

Man these stangs eat batteries if they sit for a while. You guys may remember I put a new Die Hard Gold in 4-5 months ago after going thru 4 Motorcrafts in like 5 years. Well the car has sat since a week or two before Thanksgiving. I thought to myself this last week I need to get out there and start that thing. Well I went out last night and click.click...click.
I have had it on trickle charge for 24 hours and I think I saved it but time will only tell. I going out this weekend and get a battery tender for the winter months and leave it on full time. I don't know what Ford has on using juice all the time but this car is the worst I have ever owned for battery usage.

Must be all the bad vibes coming from you Scottie. I still got my orginal batterie (sitting on a shelf in my garage) cuz I replaced it with a blue topped Opima. I do keep a battery tender on all winter long. What do you got plugged into the power sockets??

[quote=tom281;6523453]Scott do you lock it with the key fob while it sits?
Hey Tom,
I know what your thinking and the answer is NO. I am scared to lock the car because I would never get it open in the winter if the battery failed. I did manage to charge the Die Hard back up to 100% so I am going to get a battery tender this weekend to put on it the rest of the winter. What is crazy is I have 4 mowers or tractors with batteries in them and I just start them a couple of times every winter for 1/2 hour and charge them up and have no issues.
Darrell,
Your right it is the bad vibes I emit..... that is the problem.
But just so we can prove that the problem is me... will you unplug your battery tender from your Stang until March 1st and then go out to see if will start to prove it is really me and not the Stang?

I challenge your Blue Top Optima battery.
