Hey Scott, I was just looking at your signature and thought to myself, man I can't believe it's been over four years since that day we met at Brenspeed with Larry and Ben to do your cam install and dyno tune. FOUR + YEARS! Boy time flies.

Yea I have seen that car, an older lady was driving it when I saw it. How did you screw up a tire/rim???
ATTENTION ATTENTION
My next Autocross/Solo race is this Sunday. Going to try to drive it deep into the corners this time. Talked a co-working into coming out with his 1990 Corvette. It will be bad if he beats me. I have ask the coarse designer to ride with me to get me some driving pointers.
Tom you coming???? Yacht/ss is your class (ss = super slow).
I'm surprised you put tires and gas in that Mustang, I though you had totally abannoned all your cool cars in favor of the Beemie and the land yacht.
Getting better day by day, can't eat saurkaught at all now (one of my favovites). Stomach still goes sour quick if I eat the wrong things.
I got an offer from Oliver Ford (they sell Brenspeed Mustangs) for alittle more than I pay for on the Raptor when it was brand new. I won a free oil change at their car show last year and they almost wouldn't give me my keys back. Kept trying to make a deal with me. Nothing on their lot even interested me. I think I'll pass.

Hey Tom,
Funny you should bring that up. I was thinking the same thing last week when I looked at that date in my sig.

Come on, you need to get that pony out to a real course, autocross is for fart cans! Id love to try and keep up with you out here on the Autobahn's 3.51 mile 21 turn road course. In fact I would challenge you to a race on your first time out since I know the course, lol.
Amazing what knowing the course can do for a driver against a faster car.
P.S. I have been drinking, anything I say or do cannot be held against me in a court of Mustang Forums.

Boy I'd love to!
By the way, guess what was parked in a driveway just three houses down from mine on Wedneday night.....
a red/black Laguna Seca Boss! I don't know the owner but I think an introduction and request for test drive is in order.

Another last place finish in my class. I was told I need new tires. Looking at Hanhook Ventus R-S3. Even my buddie from work in his 90 Corvette beat me. Although he did get DNF on 3 of his 6 runs for missing a gate. Also think they let him slide just so he could get a legal time in. I had the coarse designer ride with me to see why I was so slow. He drives a Boss 302 in a prepared class (ESP). Last run of the day was a 54.1 inprovement of nearly 4 seconds from the 1st run.

Also for aminute i thought Tom had shown up. An orange SRT8 was there. When they post the results I'll see what times he had. What I saw was the same with me lots of oversteer on the corners.

Hey Darrell that was really neat. While I have no personal knowledge of what you are doing I do have a couple of friends that autocross all the time and I go with them. While you need good power for the straights it is also more about the turns and the braking areas. You have more power then you need. Work on braking, rolling thru the corners and handling. Tires and brakes are your best investment.
