Definitely under consideration. Selling it solves several things in my world. First, we are going to get a new car for the wife later this year so by selling the 70 I buy new without any payment. And second the garage that she is in is all insulated and finished drywalled. We are looking to turn this space into home offices for both me and the wifey. So if anyone is looking...she is a beauty and needs nothing but love.
Interesting question. It has been appraised at $42,000 for insurance coverage. I'd probably let her go for mid $30's but no lower. If she was a 428 car instead of a 351C car she be worth $75-80K right now. Wonder if that guy who has his 07 GT500 with only 52 miles up for sale would want to trade?

Scott my wife has always wanted a 70 Mach1 ever since she seen one at a car show/gathering. I have looked for some and they have been way over priced for ones that need ALOT of help. Yours is a beautiful Stang. I wish I had the money for it right now. Hope if a for sale signs pops up on it you can get more than what the mid $30s for it.

I would take it off your hands, but no room at the Inn. I really like the Edge - my wife doesn't. Otherwise I would replace two vehicles with one Edge, and that would leave room for another toy. Hmmmm...
Man, I am really getting the itch to go outside and clean the car. This slight warm up has really made me want to spend the weekend detailing. Not to mention I've been surfing Autopia quite a bit. Right now just praying for a quick transition to spring.

So I've been researching various cars that I like, for after we sell/move/purchase homes and move to the Cleveland area..... I have been following the Dodge Challenger SRT8 closely because I love the look of the car and like the feel of the larger engine (low speed torque rules, LOL) along with the feeling of it as a "muscle car" compared to a "sports car" or "pony car"...... But then these new 5.0s continue to blow my sox off with very minimal mods, see thread:

This is dang near the 1/4 mile times that my 06 ran with the Saleen blower and full compliment of mods! Very impressive.
Today on the drive from Westlake to Cleveland, I followed a black Challenger R/T on I-90 for a few miles (with a young blonde chick driving, and smoking cigarettes LOL) and I continue to look at the Challenger as an awesome looking machine..... man it's a tough decision IMO.
I guess I have plenty of time since a vehicle purchase won't happen until we're relocated and comfortable with knowing the new monthly expenses.

get the nice riding roomy mopar. The whole family can fit in there and cruise
They both sound great but having already had the Mustang and knowing how much you've been thinking and talking about the Challenger I agree with Scott. There's no replacement for displacement. Plus the car is an absolute looker. And you don't see as many. I hate having a car everyone else has. I get pissed when I see another Raptor and that's happened 3 times in the last year and all of those times I was in a different car.
