Had several emailed tunes the last couple of weeks that have not worked. Brent needs to look at what's going on. I have an RPM flare issue if I am running at 55-60 mph and drop the hammer. It feels like the trans is not connected to the engine. The RPM flares to 6500-6700 rpm in an instant. Not good on a stock engine.

Scott, that sounds like a torque converter issue maybe?

Yeap I agree. That's what I have been telling Brent, Doug and Chandler for over 3 weeks. But after 4 emailed tunes I am having no luck. I really know it is the torque converter because I have a Bama tune on my tuner that locks the converter that is about 3 years old and I don't have the problem with that tune.

Go kick their asses then buy them some beers, they'll figure it out. Brent needs to keep doing all the tuning.

The interesting thing is Doug told me late last week that Brent does still do all the tuning. I am sure he will figure it out once I get there.

I'm not so sure that is entirely true...... at least it wasn't a few short months ago but maybe it's changed. Any way good luck and have fun!

Yeah I really think your correct regardless of what Doug said. I really want to believe that the last 3 emailed tunes I received for my 4:10's and transmission shift schedule didn't come from Brent. The last one on Monday night made to engine run like a total pig. I didn't even care about the way the transmission shifted because the engine ran so bad. I deleted that tune as fast as I could get home to do it. Most likely came from a newbie is my guess. I mean I really really want to think those last 2 or 3 tunes didn't come from Brent.. I would be discouraged. Brent is the one that has been emailing the last two days. That makes me feel a lot better. And what does KP in your avatar mean? I could give it so many names!

Not exactly the words that I would have applied. But being a young man with really really big and I mean "BIG" ambitions I can see where your coming from sort of..... And as far as the site layout goes I only notice that nobody is on here anymore.

I think if you remember back to previous summers, you'd find the activity drops off quite a bit for a few months while the weather is nice. You probably haven't spent much time looking, but the 2010+ section is booming...... it's busier now than the 05+ section was a few years ago.

But anyway, I hear what you're saying. This thread at least has really dropped off lately.

When they did my custom dyno tune this spring, Brent wasn't there but when the a/f ratio was off they called Brent to see what to change and fixed it all up fine.

I admit I don't visit the 2010 thread simply because I don't own one. But I can imagine they are pissed because they didn't wait for the 11's. And I call you all out and you all show up. Interesting!!
