My money says the R will become Gary's favorite vehicle. They are light, responsive, and quick.

That sounds like fun!

I have no idea what it's like. I just know it'll pull +1g on the skidpad.

How many days, weeks, or months does it take for the wife to stop bringing up things like "I could have taken a year off from work for that." "I need new clothes. You can buy a $xx,xxx car and I have no clothes!" etc, etc, etc.

My honey sayz the same thing. I tell her to go out and buy some stuff. But then she wouldn't have anything to complain about.

We picked up a new ride also. A 2000 Lexus gs300 143k miles on it. Looks almost like new.

This!

They love being the martyr and complaining about what they don't have but I told her the exact same thing. She said she would go out and buy a whole new wardrobe and I said fine, do it, please. I mean she looks great but if it will shut her up, which I highly doubt, then its so worth it.

I am lucky though. I spend far more money than she does. She's actually very frugal, thank God!
