Nope, we are going to sell our house in Indiana first before we move. It just makes more sense to not have two mortgages. The job is going very well, thanks for asking.

OK any gun nuts out there. With my Step Father down to his last days ,my Mom wanted his guns out of the house. I have a Harrington & Richardson Sportsman pistol (9shot .22lr) top strap loading from the 1030's according to its sn# (and I can't break it open), a Colt Cobra .38 sp. with holdster (1970's according to its sn#), and a Itaca Model 37 12 ga. pump shotgun. I'm going to take them to a local gun shop here and I know they will rape me on any buyback price. Though about just tellin my Mom they offer $100 and give that to her.???

Any help with this???

I own a Model 37 Ithica 12 ga pump shotgun that was a wedding present from my wife in 1975. These are very treasured guns. I would think it should bring $250 at least. It should say on the barrel that it is a featherweight. What type barrel does it come with? Full choke, modified, etc. What type of hunting did he do? Rabbit/Pheasant or duck/goose?

Darrell,
My $250 estimate may be low considering the price of a new one. Wow.. I may sell mine!!

Featherweight is on the barrel, also full choke. I think he tryed skeet shooting along time ago. The ser. no. shows a build in 1964. Used very little with a nice soft gun case.

I have a few friends that might have an interest. I will check with them in the next few days. Go see what the gun dealer will give you but don't sell it immediately. Those guns are special to the right guy. What type of shape would you say it is in? Can you post a couple of pictures?

I probably will just take the quote from the Gun Shop and pay my Mom that amount. I don't really want to get involve with selling firearms across state lines.
