The R is cool. I really drove it or the first time today. Completely different car from teh 2007 GT. Completely different. The steering is amazing. I've never driven a car with such natural steering. It makes the '07 feel like a Lincoln Town Car. 0 understeer and 0 oversteer. It's awesome. Hot as hell in south Texas. But awesome for sure.

It could use an off road x and some different resonators. It sounds like a high revving race motor. I'll probably replace the exhaust, get a CF splitter, and some 2000 GT headlights to roll with and keep those parts in storage as they are hard to find and hard to replace.

I've already foind a guy in Houston that has made a CF splitter molded from the original so I can put it on the car and save the original from abuse. The front splitter is incredibly flimsy.

These headlights are completely unique to the car. They were handmade for the R. Other headlights will fit but these are irreplaceable and I can't risk the damage. Plus they are starting to show swirls a little bit. I need to get them off the car and store inside the ac house.

But the 2000s are the ugly ones.

Here's my next car

http://content.usatoday.com/communit...debut/1?csp=hf

I could never own a limited edition car cuz I would have to drive it. Most people don't realize it's a limited edition car anyways. There is another Cobra R in my area that shows up to some of the car shows and I have heard people call it a Ricer Mustang. The guy was pictures and signs and document all over the car but not many people are interested in stopped by the car to look.
But if he drives it I bet and beats the snot out of a few other cars they would start lookin at it.

I'd like to know myself. I'll get pics and then y'all can help me figure out why they are different.

According to several R owners on SVTPerformance they are unique and not made anymore.

The R is what it is to me. I like that nobody knows what it is. That's what makes it cool to me. The not driving it much kind of sucks, but just like anything else when you limit your use of something it just makes it that much sweeter when you do it. Sex, booze, food, driving an R. I don't like restricting the use of these, but you can't just f***, drink, eat, and drive an R all the time. Though tat does sound like fun.

I still can't comprehend how people don't know what an R is.

Hell I have people ask me what my Mustang is (there is no outside lettering)

On another note today is my last day of a 2 week vacation. Spent half on my wife (D&C surgury and tests, all is ok) and the other half moving my Mom and Step Dad into their new Villa. StepDad was told by Hospice he has 2 weeks or so. He's bed ridden now and weights about 80lbs. Today my last day of vacation I had to go watch him so my Mom can go to a friend's B-day party (????)
My Mom has showed no compassion at all toward Fred. My only reward out of all this is I got all of Fred's old rusty tools (worthless), a chainsaw, a camping genarator, and those firearms.

Hey Darrell,
Do what you can do to make Fred have a peacefull end. Second marriages are usually just that. Not sure what to say about your mom's actions. Just be there for Fred if you can be.

I just finished doing a little repair to my house, replaced the storm door all on my own, no help at all. It still needs a little tweaking, but I'll do that during the week in the morning one day, not a big deal. It wasn't as difficult of a job as I thought it would be. Now I'm sitting here enjoying a cold Captain and Coke as a reward to myself.

Read the article but didn't see that. Personally I believe that Ford will once again bend us over in this department because it is not supercharged and they don't have too. Maybe a forged crank but nothing more is my bet. If you read something else please post it. I really would like to believe what you are saying is true.

2nd bullet point in the 2nd group of bullet points, if that makes sense...... forged aluminum pistons and sinter-forged rods? What does that mean?
