Well I have made the last 3 Fort Wayne Shows, 1st year 1st place, 2nd year 2nd place, 3rd year 3rd place so the odds were against me this year so I found a Car Show, Ribs Cookoff, with a Beer Tent Garden show behind the Oliver Ford stealship in Plymouth, In.

avoid apple vally ford they do shoddy body work and it cost me 6 grand. macco would have done a better job for 900.00
and they ripped me of on a new car transaction. cost me 3600.00.
they would not credit me for a trade in i used.
avoid them at all cost.

The show I went to yesterday started out bad. It was in a freshly mowned grassy feild with soft dirt. I acutally got struck before I could get to thr registration tent. They need a floor jack and some 2x4's to get me going again. Then it was going to be so hot I took my canopy tent. Alot of them were already setup and then they took me I couldn't have one up.
I pointed to the 10 other tents and asked why? So they moved up to another area so I could set up my tent. Right beside a 34 mobel B Ford with a rumble seat and a prefect Champagne color paint job. Then the guy we all know with the white SuperSnake parks on the other side. I'm screwed people just go from the 32 to the SS and I'm hambuger. Some hi schoolers come by and make me a offer of trading their 92 Honda for my stang. but the BBQ was good and it didn't storm and my wife, my no.1 daughter and my no.2 son in law and his Dad came by to visit. The awards came for the top 21 cars (about 75 cars in total). There was about 10 Mustangs almost all SC'er and half sporting Brenspeed stickers. The awards started at the 21st car and headed toward the top pick. Other about 3 mustangs got awards as the headed to the finally 10. I was very surprised when I got 7th place with all the beatiful cars there. The White SS got 5th and the 32 got the top award. So it was a pretty good day.

 

Congrats on getting 7th. That is doing good since it sounded like it started out bad.

Took off the Roush front chin spoiler this morning to drop it off at the body shop tomorrow for some body work and repaint. When I drop my car off at the mechanics to get the 4:10's put in I ran over a chunk of 4x4 laying on the ground I didn't see and it screwed up the paint pretty bad. Anyway my body man said $75-100 to repair and repaint if I took it off and put it back on. Nobodys fault but my own I guess. Except the guy that left the 4x4 laying around.
