Same thing happended to me..I wanted an s197....ended up with a Mariner...but I really dont mind..the Mariner is wicked sweet and I can still play with my '65 in summer.

Well guys, got home today and found:

1) painted Roush scoop

2) black seat belt retainers

3) complete glossy white stripe kit from BSM

Now all I need is some 50+ degree weather and I'm set.

 

Thats Great! If you never installed a Roush Scoop I've discovered if you make your mount holes a little larger than the template calls for ( wiggle room) it mounts easier and you have a better chance of getting it to sit flush!......Warm that garage up and get busy....

 

Can't do it...... flying to Chicago and then onto Northwest Arkansas tomorrow. Why don't you deliver some good weather around here for when I get back.

Hey! 70MACH1OWNER, on a different note (pun intended) FRPP is whacked on what they want for a set of ported heads.....

 

Are you ready for ported heads already? Not sure on a N/A engine they are worth all that much. You had better get your wife back home. You seem to be spending alot on mods lately. Do yourself a favor and get the cams from Brenspeed. They are worth the $1,000 bucks installed. Heck I'll come up and meet you for your install!!! Probably the only way we will ever meet!!!
