So what's your first impressions of the 5.0 Tread?

I might get my 65 Mustang back on Friday. I'm going to go by and check on it tomorrow after work...

Man, this thing is crazy fast. I still can't get over how quiet it is inside and how smooth the ride is for a sport suspension.

Can't wait to see the 65 finished. I'm sure that paint will look good!

I'm glad you like it.

I stopped by last night, and the paint looked real good, but the fit of the new fender was a little off. I hope they can fix it.......

I don't know. I hope so, but it seems like the new fender is just a little bit longer then the old one.

Not that unusual for replacement parts.....

Hey Tread, do you have a bump to the rear of the gas pedal on your 2011? I have one on mine, but I'm not sure if it's normal or not? Maybe it's a platform for your foot to rest on?

I didn't want to go ask the dealer and say that's normal. I would feel like a fool........

Maybe I'll see if I can get a pic if I remember.......

If you are talking about that ledge thing on the floorboard behind the gas pedal then, yes I do. Not sure what it's for though.

Oh OK. That's good! I thought I might have something weird to worry about. That wouldn't be real good.

It looks like my 65 is ready to be picked up. I should have some pics for you guys tomorrow.

I also ordered a Cllasic car LoJack for my 65 at over$400 off retail price! It never hurts to ask!

@Falchion - You asked a little while back about a special offer on LoJack for Classics for Mustang Source Forum members. We officially announced the new recovery system this morning and your members are eligible to take advantage of a special, one-time offer of $295, which is $400 off the MSRP. If you or your members are interested, they can call (800)-838-1177 x 3873 or visit https://store.lojack.com/product.aspx?zpid=374 and enter the promo code CC2EML295 at checkout.

Thanks! I drove it around yesterday, and it was going strong!

It came out a little more orange then my 2011, but other then that they did a good job.

Got a new custom cross flow radiator in last week. It seems to cool a lot better.

Whew! I had a big scare yesterday! I received a wonderful letter from Texas Motors telling me my credit had been denied!

My loan is thru Bank of America (my personal bank) and they already sent my payment coupon and set up my account on my online banking so I knew something was up. Anyway, I went to a new owners class at the dealership yesterday and spoke to my salesman about it. When they wrote up the loan papers they did my name wrong and then had to go back and correct it. This is what the letter was about thank goodness. Man I was sweatin it for a while. I knew my credit was good since my salesman pulled it up while I was there doing the paperwork (all three scores were 777 and up).

So just a reminder next time you apply for a loan. Make sure it is correct. I am the one who caught the wrong name on mine in the finance office. I wasn't expecting that letter though. Especially a whole month after the fact.

I'm glad you got that cleared up. I had a friend who had the same exact name as somebody else who had bad credit. He used to have issues all the time.

They set me up with a bank in St. Louis who offered even better rates then BOA. It was only .2 per cent less, but it saved a few dollars every month.

I just got my 65 back from Maaco because they installed the new wind shield, and rear window without chaulk! Errr!

They also got a couple of dents out of my hood with that paintless dent removal. It looks really good.
