Hey that's a good pic! Valery was playing with my gun.
It was good to see ya again and your Mustang looks great. The flows sounded real good too!

Don't let Ghost see the "really" good pics though! Wish you could have made it Ghost.

Yeah, those pictures turned out OK. I wasn't sure they would since the flash didn't go off........

Thanks about the car. I'm really enjoying it. I was able to set the colors on my new scan gauge so that it's easier to read. I had it set on instant MPG and going down hill it got up to 44 MPG! I can see now why Ford uses average on the trip computer. It would be too confusing to most people to see it vary as much as it does......

Tread, it looks like KC is checking into finding out the price on the window seal with the built in moleskin. Here's the link, you could maybe send him a PM.

I sent him an email last night to see if he could check it. I guess he got it.

Yeah, I have some issues seeing my new gauge during the day, but it is still pretty cool to play with!

I filled up this morning and reset my message center and was able to compare the MPG from that against my scan gauge and found that the two could be pretty close. But driving around town at lunch time the MPG went down to around 13!

At least that's what I think it showed. Like I said it's hard to read during the day unless the sun is over your shoulder or something.

How's that scan gauge work? Did you have to run a wire to something? Also, Tread, please let me know what Kevin says about the window runners. Would rather have that than putting in some moleskin.

Glad you guys had fun hookin' up. Next time, hopefully, I can make it. Now...where's the good pictures?

Either of you planning on going to the Alliance Air Show? Oct. 20-21. I'm leaning toward going to that and takin' my oldest.

I'll let ya know what KC comes up with. I just hope it's semi cheap. DFWStangs Fall cruise is on the 21st so if I go to the airshow it'll be on the 20th. Gotta see if the kiddo's wanna go.

The scan gauge just plugs into the OBD port in the bottom of the drivers side console then you route the wire through the opening that is covered by the A pillar trim piece. Super easy install, took like five minutes. The scan gauge is kind of hard to read in the sun, but I still like it!

I have it set on throttle %, and instant MPG right now. It was showing me getting around 28 MPG when I was going steady at 70 MPH. Pretty good I thought!

I'd be interested in going to the Airshow on the 20th if you guys want to hook up. The Blue Angles are going to be there. I can get us a VIP pass through work that will let us sit in the Lockheed tent. We would have to meet up some where before hand and take one car that would fit all of us. Are you guys interested in that?

Here's some info from the Lockheed web site:

Tickets To The Alliance Airshow On Sale (Posted: Thursday, October 04, 2007)

Passes are on sale for the Alliance Air Show Oct. 20 and 21. Each VIP parking pass is $20. Everyone in your vehicle will receive a wrist bands to get you into the Lockheed Martin employee lodge. Tickets can be purchased at the cashier's office located at 200/1/D5 and the LMLA office off the 50 ft. aisle. For more information on the air show, visit http://www.allianceairshow.com.

As much as I would be, I'd like the flexibility of going when I need to due to the kiddo. Wouldn't want to inconvience anybody else on my account for that.

What's up Corey? How's Abilene treating ya?

Ghost, check the RAcing Bench forum for the Cruise info. We rent out Kennedale for DFWStangs only from 10am until 5pm. It's pretty fun even if you don't run down the strip.

Falchion, if it was just me I would take you up on that deal. I have the kids though so it wouldn't work out too well. Thanks for the offer though.

The great and mighty KC has answered. Probably $75 locally or he can send them cheaper. I asked for a price so we shall see.
