In week isn't so good for me, but I'll be at the Car Show this weekend!

Cars, and bikinis, what could be better?

The get togethers for tonight and May 30th have been cancelled due to a change in ownership of the parking lot behind Hooters.
The carshow on Saturday is still gonna happen according to the group that is putting it on.

 

Wow! That's some kind of developement!

I'm glad to see that the show on the 21st is still going to be taking place. I'll be sure and be there, looks like it'll be a lot of fun!

I hope to see the rest of you, and as many Mustang Source members as can be there as possiable!

Hey guys...I'm in Atlanta at the moment...won't be back until Friday. We'll see how much my wife misses me when I get back (whether she'll let me go ) I'll definately try to attend Saturday's event. I'll post later on if I will make it or not.

 

Did you fly there, or did you drive your new Pony?

 

I think my car has a couple of paint flaws in it. One is cracked already. I guess I'll have to bring it in.

What kind of flaw and what is cracked? Sorry to hear that and hope it is easily fixed.

 

It looks like the paint was touched up in two areas on the roof of the car. But, in one of these areas the paint is starting to crack. I put some wax on it to protect it. The other area has a little dimple that is starting to bulge out just a tiny bit.

It's not a critical thing, but I'll have to bring it back to the Dealer and leave it there for a few days. :notnice:

I'll still be at the car show tomorrow. Are the rest of you going?

 

Bummer about the paint. I plan on going tomorrow too. I'll be wearing a white T-shirt w/ tri-bar and pony. I'll also have my two kids with me. Hope to see y'all out there.

 

Yeah, the paint is a bummer, but it's not something I need to take care of right now like an engine problem. Could have been worse.

I think I'll leave work early so that I can get my car washed before the show. I don't want to show up with a dirty pony! :notnice:

 

Boy oh boy, I think it's gonna be a little hot today! I'm still planning on being there about 4pm but, since I'll have my 4yr old son with me, I might not be able to stay very long. See y'all out there.

Wow! I think I lost about 20lbs in sweat. It was nice to meet ya finally, Bart. We should of entered our cars. We woulda definitely won a trophy eventhough it wouldn't fit in the car to bring it home.

 

Yeah, we could have had a seperate category. 2005 Mustang! And we could have parked right next to those white Fox body stangs out front. I wonder what reaction the owners would have had?

And it was good meeting you Jim! Too bad there wasn't more of us there huh? Come on you guys! :angry:

Sorry fellas. Was busy all day from the garage sale we were doing and then we had to catch up on chores from me being gone all week.

Well guys....what happened?
I had other plans earlier today so I figured since the show was scheduled to run until Midnight that I'd swing by this evening. Cruised over there about 9:30pm and there's only 20 cars there. Looked around...no 05's, so I just pulled through the lot and came on back home. From the looks of your posts, everyone was pretty much back at their places by 5:00 pm or so...I'm sure it was just a little hot out there.

Hope to run into you next time...maybe it will be one of the evening shows instead of in the heat of the day.

Yea. the show turned out to be a little disappointing due to the parking lot fiasco which cancelled the get togethers. They only had room for a limited amount of cars so they shortened the show. I have to say that I would be ashamed to say I owned some of the cars out there but, there were some nice ones too. Hopefully they will get the parking lot back we can keep up the get togethers.

 

Yeah, some of them weren't that great. Tread and I thought maybe we should have entered our new ponies. We might have won something!

I'm hoping the next one will be a lot better. It would be cool if we all went there with our new Mustangs and parked next to each other. Take up a whole section!

I'm sure we'll get together some time. Maybe after Blake gets his car. Then there would be five or more of us. That would be cool!

 

*Blake Update*-- His Mustang is being built this week! He didn't say what day though. He didn't get the message about the car show until today either. He was working on the '65 all weekend.

 

When is the next get togather?

I've been swamped with work, youth sports and stuff.
I sure would like to meet you all and see the pony's.
