It blows my mind that it took so long just to make a stupid phone call too get the number. The problem is that I have no idea how long it is going to take to get it back. I hope within a week or two. I hate not being able to adjust or change if I need to.

I assume we are all still on for the 30th for Test and Tune. I think it would be fun. Practice makes perfect anyway. I know I need to learn how to drive my car better on the track.

Hey, did you all see that Doug at Bamachips has a mobile dyno and welcomes group dynodays and is willing to travel to our area...Might be an idea for the future. Maybe he could custom tune us if necessary. Just a thought at any rate.

Chris We have a installer that will do the swap for 200 bucks. He is a Ford Master Technician and will do the swap at the dealership after hours. If your interested I can get you his info.
#1588
Chris, also you should hook up with the rest of us on the 30th at the track for a test and tune night. If your still interested in becoming part of the club? The install rate is sortov for club members so I guess if you go ahead then you'll need to swear an oath or somthing....... BTW you'll love the 410's

In the house taking a break and to stop the bleeding, take more muscle relaxers from the pulled muscles today and yesterday, re-taped the small right index finger I broke earlier and doubled up on the blood pressure meds,
After all the "it is easy" and "only took me 15 minutes" lies and bs from Paul and David about removing the cam covers I started. Have one off and the other half way,
Called the powder coating wizards and to let them know hopefully I could bring them in the morning and ask how long...... maybe by the end of the week, which to them is Saturday or there might be a chance to finish them earlier !!!!!
Made note to self about don't expect a lot of quality prep from them and never know when I will see the covers again,
Right now don't know if I will powder coat them and just hang with them and do a good prep job before I take them in, mail them to one of those powdercoaters mentioned on the web site, may paint but those plum trees have flower buds blowing all over the place, want something that will last and not worry about,
The TB keeps looking at me and saying I need a better finish, the MAF also wants a coat of something and that black tube ...well, its black and that just makes me go nuts.
I will deal with David and Paul later, when certain of my body parts start working again and the blood and bruise go away.
Any positive suggestions would be appreciated.

Zesy you need to get your gears and run like the wind to a Ford dealership, this is not a job for Billy and Johnny to do on the driveway.

$1000... Geez. Zesy. Send me a not at the clubs email, I'll get you the info on our guy. If everything looks good, it should only cost you $450... That REAL Ford racing gears and professional install. Can't beat that.
