I'm surprised you took it out since it has sprinkled off and on all day.

Yep UDP's are pretty easy. You will need the puller like Paul said. Be sure to remove the fan it makes it alot easier. CM plates I havent done but I believe it looks simple enough. Did you get new tunes for the plates?

There was a thread posted by Doug at Bama on the GT Performance and Tech section about a first dyno comparison for delete plates vs. stock. The result was like 8-10 thru the power band and a peak of like 15 horse. Not bad gains for what they cost. I may go ahead and get some before too long now that I have seen some dyno numbers from someone that I can trust. Also no loss in low end torque as reported some time back.

Paul have you decided on a brand of drag tire? I almost bought some Nittos last night from ebay they were buy it now price at 306 for a pair. I thought I would wait though and see if anything else looks impressive. I would like to stay around 300 bucks or so no more than 350. for a pair. That wuill put me in at 100 or so less than brenspeeds deal. Which the extra 100 could be spent on some delete plates perhaps?

The Nittos are not supposed to be anywhere near as effective as the BFGs or Good years...just a thought. A lot of guys have complained they spin only slightly less than the street tires

Dude, I don't want to know what you and Bob do to each other behind closed doors and you should be posting it here.

I paid 55 ea shipped for some take offs from another TMS member. So I have 110 in the wheels then I figure to spend another 300-350 for tires.

There have been several people using the 275/40/17 drag radials with success at the track.
