Some people spend hundreds - even thousands merely to lower their car! Some people even cut their springs - that is the wrong way to lower a car! Why bother with different bolt sizes and components, when KaleCoAuto's do-it-yourself lowering kit is a mere four piece kit! Installs in minutes, just insert one per tire and you'll be the envy of every lowrider in town! Now available in standard, chrome, and gold.

Guys I know your offline right now but I just got finished with my UDP, CMCV delete plate, and Dougs 91 Race tune install. OMG the car pulls like a train in the upper RPMs.. its like it doesnt want to stop... you have to make yourself shift at 6200, but I swear it still wants lots more. The cars Revs a lot faster... kind of like adding gears (was that the right analogy?) I have noticed no loss in power in the lower RPMs... The car feels like its gained across the board. I had a friend ride with me tonight that has been in the car with me before the Pulleys and plates... after I scared him with a 1 2 3&1/3 pull... OH AND I SCARED myself as well!!! My brother was waiting for us to return to hear the results... My friend got out of the car and told my brother that its been a long time since hes been in a car thats pulled like that in 2nd gear. I am lovin it guys!! Not sure how much I've gained... How quickly can I get on a dyno around here???

Hey guys... thinking about going to the TestNTune tomorrow... will I need a helmet?? I was in the 13's before the UDP's and Delete plates... is it 13.99 or faster a helmet is a must? Where can I find one without spending an arm and a leg?

Jarrod you can get a helmet at the wal-mart in owasso in the auto section for around 75 bucks. Thats where I got mine. You might get away with it for the first run or two but they will more than likely shut you down after they get wise if you don't have a helmet. You are correct about 13.99 that is the threshold for the helmet. If your going let me know I might try to come.

Jarrod. Congrats on the installs! with the UDPs I noticed really the motor "spinning up" quick.

Can't do the TNT tonight. Leaving for the lake to do the Dive Master thing.

Well, as I’ve hinted at before on this forum I’ve decided to sell my GT. Not that I don’t absolutely love this car – I’ve just come to the decision that I’d prefer a manual. I will be replacing her, but not for another year or so – going to wait and see what new SE Mustangs Ford drops, as well as what changes may be in store for the ’08 and ’09 Stangs, plus I just have to have a look at the new Challenger and Grand Cherokee SRT-8. Right now, however, I’m leaning towards picking a manual GT Deluxe off a lot and driving it straight to Kurtis for him to drop in a KB supercharger. I’ll be running an ad in the Auto Trader soon, but wanted to give you guys first shot at it. See all the specifics in my sig. Has always been garaged, 4,800 adult miles on her, still smells new inside. PM me if interested.

NOOOOO! David, I hate to hear that. I hope you don’t go too long without another toy. Hopefully it will be another Stang. Better be! J

Hey if you’re interested in selling the Pioneer separate… let me know! I’m very interested at the right price.

Man groupset I hate to hear that and can only hope that you put a better pony in your stable soon! I like the idea of the KB SC. I too prefer the 5-speed. Have you ever considered just converting yours to a manual?

Thanks for the comments, guys! Yes; I think after all is said and done the next one will likely be another Mustang. And yes, I did consider converting to a manual, but given the cost; time involved; etc., I think it would be cheaper in the long run to just buy another car.

Paul - check your PM.

Why would they make us run out of the groove?? is it a safety issue with the faster dragsters?
