Hey chris, I ran 13.5 @ 103 with only flowmasters and a drop in K&N filter the last time out at the end of last season.
Have you ever run your car before?
I hope the weather holds out for Fri. It's about a 50/50 shot at this point.
Jeff, any better confirmation on the shipment? Does it look like Thursday still?
The last time we were there... A we were knocking on 12's. Since then, we've done some go fast mods. Most of us should be well into the 12's. Well... we hope anyways.
Last time I ran a 13.2. Since then I've added 4:10s and Under Drive Pullies. I should be in to the 12's... I BETTER BE!

I reaaaaaaly Hope that the weather holds I gotta go see what this thing will do with the new mods!
that's great guys!! i haven never been there before and this being my first manual i have only had it for about a month. im a so-so driver, i expect to be anywhere from 13.8-14.3 just cuz im still getting used to the car.
Well CHris if the weather holds out you'll know for sure in less than 48 hours!
also i have a friend who says i can't get into the 12's w/o a supercharger (i know he isn't the smartest about racing) but what do u think i need along with what i already have to break into the 12's? i say 4.10's, pullies, maybe slicks and good driving..any comments??
p.s. the friend is coming out friday night in his ss truck! ahha

Well if one of us breaks into the 12's I guess his comments will be null and void! I think 12 are very doable with out a super charger or nitrous. Gears pullies good tunes and tires should get you there. Make sure you don't come with a full tank of gas either. You want the car as light as possible. you can figure a 10th of a second loss for every 100 lbs.
Have you ever tried power shifting?
no. my friend threw that at me the other day. isn't that where u hold the gas in even when u shift? how does that work
Well it's kindov hard to explain but yes you hold the throttle down to the floor and kick the clutch just enough and fast enough to shift the gear you don't actually depress the clutch pedal all the way like you would normally. It takes some practice to get it right but it can help your times at the track depending how much of a granny shifter you are.
