The complete 30th anniversary program has been published in the august 2006 issue of Mustang Monthly.
Yes there is a "Pony Tail" cruise thursday night from the track to Homewood. That s where my business is located. There are plans for a block party in the Downtown area. Blocking off streets etc.
Check out the judging schedules in the magazine also, has a complete listing of classes. Also doing a photo class for cars that can not be there, just bring pictures.

.
What about meeting on Taylor road? Taylor road is right before Montgomery and runs between 231 and I-85 it would be an easy place for people coming from either way. There is a large shopping center off of the interstate and we could meet at the Target there say between 2 and 2:30? From there it is a little over an hr to Birmingham.

Yes. I know the road.
That would be fine with me, but after seeing Brad's pics, I'm worried about the love bugs. Thinking about leaving a little later or a lot earlier.

I think if you were going south you would need to worry about the love bugs, but since you are going north should not be an issue. We never have them up here around Auburn and Montgomery (sure as I say that we will get flooded with them this year). Guess will just need to wait till closer to time of the event to see how bad they are.

Have been at Barbers for the weekend (Rolex Races), the MCA event will be great there. Such a nice facility and such a great place for this event.
All parking areas except paddock are on beautiful manicured Zoyia grass that looks beter than any homeoweners lawn I have ever seen.

The Car corral area, was in use today by BMW & Mini owners, also a few
Stangs there. A really nice Shinona Cobra (red with gold stripe trim), was looking good.
See you in a couple of weeks.

What is near it?

Thanks

I will be at the show unveiling a New Product--A Temporary Clear Car Bra, below is the information sheet I have been working on.

I tried to download a file, its to big. I tried to Copy and Paste, it wouldn't work.

Basically AutoShield is a water based paint on liquid that dries crystal clear and creates a temporary protective film (like a clear bra). It protects the front of your car from bugs and if you use more than one coat it protects against rocks. It only takes a few minutes to paint on with a foam brush. When you want to remove it, you just lift up a corner and peel it off. Most of the time it comes off in one piece, any residue is easily washed off with a garden hose sprayer. I have been testing this stuff for 7 months and it works

That'll be a little too late for me. Any chance you want someone to demonstrate it for you so I could have some for the trip up there?

I have a couple of guys here testing it. I really don't have any to sell right now, I am "ramping up" production so I can have some for the Show. You will be able to get some for the trip home.

18th street is the main drag (street) through downtown Homewood. It is 20th street in downtown Birmingham. Once it comes over Red Mountain, past Vulcan, Mc Donalds, Etc. it changes to 18th Street Homewood.

Scott the cars are supposed to leave Barbers 5:00 -6:00 p.m. according to schedule that has been published. The city of Homewood is blocking streets at 5:00 in anticipation of the crowds.

Our 2 parking lots are on 18th street between 26th & 27th avenues.
We re less than a block from the party/ bandstand area, if they put it where they say they are going to.

The map that is in the MCA program is not very clear with location.
Same map as in magazines.

Scott, we are across the street from Wolf Camera and de Vinci's Pizza.
