If your ordering 06 bob will honor x-plan. I have my club members do it all the time. In fact had one order last week. Also they are giving the new ford incentive on the new orders which end up being cheaper. Give them a call and Bob can help you out. I can call ahead of time if you like. Sales tax is dependant on county. Here is a current link to orange counties : http://www.octaxcol.com/tag_titles.htm . You will find it all the way on the bottom.
Hope that helps.

How much cheaper does it wind up bein'? I'm lookin' to order a GT Premium, 18" wheels... the bullits if they have them by then, and active alarm. So.... with the incentive, which would end up bein' lower? a fully loaded GT on X-plan? or with the incentive. Anyways.... I'd love to say, yeah, give 'em a call, but since I don't know exactly when I'm moving... other than sometime before end of January next year, I don't want to get somethin' started that I won't be able to swing... cimply because I won't be around. Know what I mean. Perhaps I'll hit you up when I'm coser to knowing something, and we can talk then. Now, in Florida... do they charge the tax of the county they're selling in? or the county that you reside in?... as they do in Colorado. They do that to keep people from going to another county just to get a tax break. it's stupid.

glad you were able to find somethin'... I looked for a good while and cold only find tax info on properties.
Thanks, man.
regardless of tax rate..... it won't stop me from buyin'..
it's been too many years w/o a Mustang. My first car I ever bought was an '88 GT, when I was 18, got a cobra tattooed on my shoulder, then got a new '98 GT when I was 21. geared it up, did some mild mods... then sold that in late '01, thinkin' I'd get another one soon.... but I wanted to keep the boat instead.
well.... now that I'm jonzin' like a crack adict, I don't think a 20% tax rate would stop me.
ahhh the wonderful things an obsession makes you do.
