Ordered mine in late in Nov 2007, took delivery Dec 31. 56k on the clock, still runs great after a few hiccups in the beginning and one failed alternator. One of these days I'm going to start putting all the mods I've purchased on the car! Just can't believe I've had it this long, it doesn't seem like it. Although I'm happy to have it paid off.

I'd love to have a 5.0 in it, but as with many others here, I don't want the 10+ body.

2007 Premium GT bought new 7 years ago this month....still going strong! Not a single issue that required a return to the dealership ( other than a recall for reprogramming of the passenger side airbag ) and still on the original battery! 32,000 miles. A ton of Roush upgrades to the engine and suspension, as well as custom tuning. Street and track driven. Love it as much today, as the day I brought it home!

I think your existing one will 'out-look' it the one you have in my opinion is one of the best looking packages ford ever released... I'm partial to blue cars, but those dark green bullitt package cars were just downright gorgeous.

117,000 miles, still going strong. Was my DD until just a couple of months ago, I bought a Tacoma that has now assumed DD duties.

Ordered 10/05, mixup at the dealer. Reordered 11/05 took delivery 1/06 (if memory serves) for my 06 screaming yellow .
Me, my garage and this S197 have made memories, never worked on a car much as I have this one. It's been a true car luv affair.

I plan on keeping it, just really need an SC.
But I'm thinking / committed to a S550 CO 15.

As an update, my oldest daughter turned 16 in April, got her license, and now the 07 GT convertible is her car for a while. The car now has just a hair over 60K.

It doesn't get driven daily, but I've still put almost 10K miles on it in the last year. Most of that was two road trips. In the spring I took it on a 3000 mile trip to Daytona Beach, and this summer me and my 11yo daughter took a 4000 mile trip to CO, WY, NE, KS and OK. That was a great trip. Just turned 59K this weekend, and our 6 year anniversary is at the end of the month. My oldest daughter gets her license next April, and it will probably become her car.

Ordered my 2006 GT on August 23, 2005, it was built on September 23, and I took delivery on November 2. Had 17 miles on it--now it has about 22,000. The trip from the factory to the SC dealer seemed to take forever, but it was worth the wait!

I still love this car!

I have owned mine since 2006, just under 50K on the odometer and still enjoying the heck out of it (weather permitting).

ordered my first one june, 05- wasnt meant to be, arrived in october, careless carhauler dropped a ramp on the rearend, pushed the wing a inch deep into the quarter, couldnt even get a test drive... its identical twin arrived 12-17-05, got close to 75k on it now- best car Ive ever owned, loved it so much bought another identical 09 for just-in-case... still stashed away with 4 miles on the clock.

in 2005 we had three sons- hmm, yeah, a family of 5 and i wanted a mustang??? ended up adding a three point harness over the rear seat 'hump' for just in case we all HAD to ride in the mustang, were expecting 4th son early 08, so the seat problem was gonna be worse- solution: wife got a 07 pony.

love these cars. took the 06 and 07 out west last summer, wife and i, 4 kids, picked my mom up in colorado, hit route66, grand canyon, lots of great roads... the older two boys got to share driving chores, we all had a great time, 5800 mile round trip, my car puked a bit once- shut off just after a mountain pass at about 10,000 feet in colorado, think it heat soaked, shoulda let it idle a while before shutdown, and the wife picked up a nail just after we got back into ohio, but i had a plug kit, fixed it before it even went flat...tpms was a good thing that day
