How many bought their's new and still own it?

I bought my 05 GT on Nov 18, 2004 and still own it. There are some long gaps of when I get back on here, but when I do I see some people that I remember seeing back in 2004. Time is flying and it is hard for me to believe that I have owned this car for more than 8 years (Heck I have only been married for about 10 years).

Out of curiosity, how many of you bought your '05-09 new from the dealer and still own it?

Saw my windveil blue on the dealer showroom floor on feb 1st 2005, put a deposit on it and drove it off the showroom floor on feb 2nd with 4.7 miles on it. Now it has about 89.5K on it. Still love it to death and even though I sometimes wish it had the 5.0 in it, I love this body style so much. Not sure if I'll ever get rid of it.

You guys need to step up to the 11+ because you don't know what you're missing

No thank you Joe. Say NO to diapers.
Ford ruined the S197 starting in '10 with the ridiculous ugly rat junk hangin low diapermobile regardless of the 5.0 that came in '11. WTF were they thinking??
And now everybody gets a Shelby look - even with a GT.

I picked mine up in December of 2004 and i don't plan on ever getting rid of it. She's got 63,000 miles now, but i still get compliments on how it looks new.

I ordered my 05 GT in Nov' 04, during the "My Color" blackout, couldn't get that option due to a lawsuit? Still have it, just a hair over 5,000 miles. Still smells new inside )

Bought my car new off the lot at Fette Ford in Clifton, NJ on 11-11-06. It was one of two leftovers, my Satin Silver, and a Torch Red GT, both automatics. it was stickered at $30,995, I got it out the door for $27,000. (They wouldn't budge a penny on the '07's). Time flies, I'll have it seven years this November 11th, (Veterans' Day), and its already seven years old, it's date of manufacture was 2-25-06. 70,500 miles on her now, no issues, just like new (well, except for the bubbling hood paint that I've had fixed twice and didn't work) I bought it as a weekend toy, but now it's my daily driver, year round! Gonna keep her as long as I can!

Ordered my 05 in Jan. just turned 2400 miles, It's not a Shelby or Boss 302 or even a later GT with a 5.0, but it brings joy and fun just driving it when time permits......

<------ Dec 7th 2006 chosen off the lot. 60ish on it now and all mine, mods and all. Barring major issues of any sort, it will be passed down to my son when he is ready.... He's in a 2.3 fox for now...

As far as the 2011 up statements. Just not in the cards right now or I would also have one with more POWAH.... At this point I will be waiting for 2015/16 to decide what I am going to do....

I ordered my 2006 GT convertible new from the factory (the only car I ever ordered new). Sally now has 107K and change miles on her and she is my daily driver. Incidently, I have a 1985 Mustang GT hatchback I bought new off the lot in late '84 that I still own (recently restored).

Ordered mine Dec 13 2005, took it home Mar 29 2006. It was a summer only car for 4 years but tough times forced me to make it a year round daily driver. Racked up 48000 miles on it and and its my only car at the moment . Working on saving up to get another car to bring this one back to summer week-end toy. I plan on keeping it forever.

my 06 gt has >50k since 12-17-2005, still love the car.

wifes got about 20k on her 07 pony

day after a disappointing speedchannel '10 reveal, ordered a 09 gt identical to my 06 - still undriven(4.3 miles now) will be paid off in a few more months

bang for the buck these were (and still are) overall great cars... I'll be content if they are the last new cars I'll ever buy, and hope to get a lifetime out of them.
