How many bought their's new and still own it?
A lot of you guys need to get out and drive those Mustangs!!!
Bought mine new Nov '05 currently just under 57,000 miles, has been a DD until a year ago now driven 2-3 days a week. Did many car shows the first few of years, got distracted with other things for a while and started to show it again last year.

Agree 100%!! Thanks for the compliment on my car, yours is pretty awesome also.
Bought mine new in October of '04..... still have it, although as my signature indicates, she's had some work done....
Embarassingly... only ~22,000 kms.

Purchased mine new. It has 83,000 miles on it. Even though I blew up the motor, I decided to go twin turbo and stroke that 4.6 3 valve. 700 hp to wheels on pump gas..............hang on....................Will never sell it............. just keep fixing it and making it better, stronger, faster.......six million dollar car. lol..................... :-)
NOW I have someone to direct comments to whenever somebody makes a comment on my miles (I have less than 13K on my Vista Blue 2006).
At least I drive mine (even hard sometimes).

But in all seriousness, I had about 27k miles on my original drivetrain... I've put about 10k miles on my new drivetrain.... so 37k on the body, but maybe like 20k on the drivetrain.
heheh
I do have a 09 with 4 miles on it, but I never see it, just uncover/start it up every couple weeks when messing around in the garage...dont miss it as I drive the same car everyday in my 06, and I've flogged the crap out of it, man are these cars a blast to drive...I ordered the 9 after staying up late to see the '10 reveal- yes I hated the taillights that much...figured that someday it would be my next new mustang- although I still hope the 06 outlasts me
with the prices of the new ones, my regrets for buying a car to store are starting to fade, but now the virgin mustang dont look right, I'll need to get another fang shaker hood, 70 stripe, and SHR louvers before it ever hits the road...really like the look of my 06 except for the wheels/tires, I'm still debating on what to do there...thinking going back to 17" but the tires available are so short, I'd have to lower the car, was hoping not to do that...time will tell, just the 18" slowed track times a few tenths and ride like crap compared to the stock 17's... might try to talk the folks at work into selling me a couple blank forgings to whittle some custom wheels from...
I need to pull my tranny apart, too many redline shifts on test/tune nights have taken their toll...royal purple oil change hid most of the damage for the past 2 years, but its getting balky again- lightly catching in 2nd once in a while(no more lockouts yet) but reverse now is getting almost impossible at times...sometimes gotta drive fwd a little and shift while rolling slow...plus clutch has been getting some chatter once in a while...not slipping yet, but passengers feel like bobbleheads sometimes, guess i really should fix it
back burner for now, hoping to get my 69 rotisserie mounts done this weekend while still on vacation- the poor things sat engineless since '84 hogging garage space, with any luck she'll be "shiny side down" next week so we can start stripping undercoating and cutting out whatever rot is there...expecting quite a bit even if it looks decent with all that undercoat slathered over it...old mustangs in Ohio arent known to hold up real well
