Got mine new in November for '06 and still have it. Although it's very different from when I bought it... new engine, transmission, wheels, hood, seats, steering wheel, suspension and on and on.

Can't sell it now... spent too much money on it

Bought mine new in June '05. Still have it, and have every intention of hanging onto it.

65K non-babied miles (cross country road trips, etc)

Hanging out near Kansas City on one of the longer trips:

Ordered my Pony May 2005, took delivery on 8-13-2005. I still have her! On the way to 8 years old with 114,500 miles on the clock. I love my Pony! No plans to trade any time soon!

Bought mine new 2007 in nov 07 while stationed in germany. Love driving it . Only have 14k miles on it and don't plan on selling it anytime soon.

Only issue i've had is the bubbling paint on the front hood.

Ordered one during the "My Color" dash fiasco, so the dealership would not honor the order. They gave me the "take one off the lot or wait some undetermined amount of time" speech.

I bought a red GT, apparently this car was won by some dude as part of an Arizona Cardinals give-away, but he didn't want to pay the taxes, so they sold it to me.

It's got ~53K, sat for 2 years while I was stationed in Korea, now gets driven when the weather's good.

I plan on giving to my grandson when he gets old enough (assuming he thinks its cool).

It was a big deal back in the day. They made a partial package out of the IUP, because of the shortage of only certain parts. I didn't have an issue with it, but a lot of people did.

I forgot about the fiasco. Like many people said, it is a neat feature but you won't change it much. I changed mine maybe 3 times or so over the 8 years. I am glad I have it because I liked the customize color I have, but it is not too important of a feature to me.

Well actually ( you knew someone was gonna say it as soon as you say that) but I actually use mine every day. green at night for night vision, then during the day I match it to the OLED blue lighting on my radio.

My car is the one I ordered in early May of 05, same day a co-worker bought his triple Black GT Vert. (Sold my 73 Vert to fund this) After waiting 6 weeks for the car, (73 sold and shipped), dealer could not confirm order, Ford had shut down order banks for the 05's, so I took delivery of a V6, same color with all the same options. Fast forward to Thursday after Labor Day 2005, guess what arrived at the Dealer? They never got a confirmation from Ford, no pre-invoice, nothing, was one of the last built 05's (07/28/05). Dealer kept the car on showroom floor all winter, I kept the V6 in my garage and in February 06, Ford came out with incentives on the 05 leftovers. (3000.00 cash back plus 1000.00 loyalty money) Dealer gave me 22000, for the V6, I got the GT at D-Plan, less the 4000.00. I ended up paying less for the GT Vert than what I paid for the V6! drove home (March 2, 2006) and when I pulled into the driveway, my wife asked..."Did you change the exhaust? It sounds different!" A ten month wait for the car I ordered... still have it...34850 for miles, and modded for speed! It is a keeper... unless a Boss comes along!

1 owner after 8 years and no plans on getting rid of it. Saving pennies for a custom paint job, F/I, wheels, hood........ Still change the mycolor, use the global window feature, turn off the radio and listen to the exhaust, and look back at it after its parked.

[QUOTE=Buckshot Barry;6572145]Took delivery of my '07 Pony Package in January 2007. Will never sell it. It's one babied V6. 752 miles.[/QUOTE

752 miles? Really

Wow, and I thought I didn't drive mine much. Bought her 5 years ago with 12,000 on the clock, and she has just under 18,000 now!

Haha, I am glad to hear others do that. I think I might do it too much as I do it most times I park and leave.

And 762 miles is too little. I love my car and want to keep low miles on it, but I do want to drive it. Part of the fun in owning it is the driving experience.

Order and delivery dates are in the sig. I just hit 20k miles this week. I drive it almost daily, but work is just down the street, so my starter gets just about as many miles as my tires.

I put new tires on a month or so ago, and replaced the lower control arms with Ford Racing arms since the ball joints were bad. Just today she got an MGW shifter, which is a really nice upgrade over stock.
