I have come to the realization that I now have wasted 10 min. of my life, while reading this thread, that I can never get back.
law suit...you guys are retarded.
Show me a "breached" contract or how a party has been "injured". Sounds like alot of you went to community college and took one Business Law class; and now think you know everything.
as previosuly stated, go for it....wait months...spend time/energy...and enjoy your free oil change coupon.

(Not a response to the quote)
Furthermore, I find it funny that it is stated that I don't argue well when SurfnSoCal's arguments are based on such awe-inspiring concepts as "retarded", "common sense", and "stop whining". Man, those are some really strong arguments. Beats the heck out of anything I can come up with.
In response to my arrogance, most would be shocked how often attorneys for huge companies will write things into contracts and agreements that will not hold up, because they know the average consumer will see it in the contract and say, "shucks, there is nothing I can do about it". It really amounts to little more than a bluff in a lot of cases. Also, believe it or not, the attorneys for huge corporations are not error-proof, and even if they were, the officers do not always listen to their advice. For someone that continues to preach "reality", you (SurfnSoCal) really seem to have a naive and unrealistic view of this particular subject.

how is saying a certain idea or mind set is retarded a PERSONAL attack? he specifically singled me out! I never said specifically one person was retarded! Although I do remember SOMEONE talking about my last birthday party, where at a restaurant I wore a tutu as a joke. BTW, THAT was a personal attack.
Can we get back on topic, because I would like to have a decent conversation on this topic.
anyone know about them rolling down, but not up?

Would you stop with the "go sell your car bit" I didn't order the car because of the global open/close, I ordered the upgraded alarm because of it. Maybe you need to get mommy to help you read what people post on here cause you seem to be having trouble comprehending.
I never said I was unhappy with the car, or that I wanted to get rid of the car. I said I was upset that an option I paid for did not do what I wanted, which was why I ordered it in the first place. If you can't understand that, I don't know what to tell you.

you said "you guys are retarded", now how is that saying an idea or mind set is retarded? I don't know what the CC taught you, but that is an attack on those of us considering a law suit.

here you are....accusing me of personal attacks...and while doing so, criticize where I spent my first two years of college...thus attacking me personally.
"You guys are retarded" is not a personal attack.
You think my opinion is "retarded" or wrong, don't you? I'm not crying about it.
get the sand out of your vagina Tim and grow up (yes, THAT was a personal attack...a guy can only take so much).
ok admins/mods, go ahead and close it now. No one here beside me wants to talk about the darn global window feature obviously. 3 times I have said lets go back to topic, yet accusations and LIES about what I supposedly said keep coming up.

Well, that is your choice isn't it? I honestly don't remember the brochure saying anything about the tires other than the size. I saw no mention of brand, so I'm not sure your comparo holds water. Which is different than saying that the active anti-theft includes global open/close, and then turning it off. It's like I said, it doesn't keep me up at night, but if there was a class-action, I would take part in it! And if you were to decide to do something about the tire issue, I would say to have at it!

Also another point. Pictures of the car in the brochure show the intake cover. Did my car come with one, no. Just another point that just because they show something or state something in a brochure is not a "promise" that you will get it. I think more and more people need to wait until a car arrives and find out what the features are before they order something.

sorry I know I said I was done but can we stop using "retarded" its not only offensive and not nice to use that word, but not fair to compare those with mental disabilities (who cant help being childlike) to those that are just immature adults who act childlike, the handicap deserve better than that. Lets not lump them into the same group with these guys.
and Surfn the windows go down and up you just have to use the key to go up, that pizzes me off I think I am going to sue BMW for making me want such luxury items in my car.

If I offended anyone here by saying "retarded", I am sorry. I should have said dumbhiney.

Original brochure also shows BFGoodrich Gforce KDW tires on the GT and in the Canadian brochure even has them listed as the tire you get when you purchase upgrade rims. I purchased the upgraded rims but got Pirelli tires. Why, because FORD changed their minds and went with Pirellis. The brochure states that basically everything listed is subject to change without notification. So am I going to complain to FORD and try to sue them, no. Am I mad that I didn't get what I thought I was going to get, darn right I am. However, one thing with brochures is you gotta read the fine print. Just because the brochure says it is there doesn't mean it is. Heck, I went on a cruise that showed a pretty cool casino on it in the brochure. Well it was nothing like that at all. When I asked about it they said "we have yet to build a ship like that. The brochure only gives you an indication of what we have to offer. We do have a casino, but not like the one in the brochure."
