What are the differences, if any, between the seats in the V6 and the GT on the 05's? I'm not talking about the difference in the pattern on the cloth or the perforated vs. non-perforated leather, I want to know if the seats are a different shape. The reason I ask is because a friend of mine said that V6 had more comfortable seats and it was my understanding that they were the same shape and size, but I've only ever sat in the GT

I was wondering also about the cloth seats in the GT as far as comfort and support. Have only been in the leather seats. Anyone spend time in both seats for a comparison?

I belive the only difference is pattern (and in leather style). The seats themselves are the same in both cars. The difference is that the V6 has a reflective "Mustang" woven into the fabric while the GT has a reflective galloping pony. In leather the V6 has large smooth squares of leather on the seating surface. The GT is more of a ribbed design and is also perforated.

The cloth seats feel "Stiffer" and hold you in the seat better. I have test driven a leather GT, seat is "Softer" and you "Sit in" the seat better. The cloth is better for sport driving IMHO of course. Both are a BIG improvement over the old seats. Still not as good as the Bullitt/Mach/Cobra.

There you go. That's the link to the thread I started on the same subject back in October. Someone even posted pictures so you can compare. Hope this helps. Cheers.
