After months of thinking I would never see my car, she has arrived! It took some real pushing and some not so nice words to the region rep and the dealer but they got it pushed ahead about 2 weeks to finally get it here. I kept hearing it would be built on 3/28 but instead it showed up on 4/4. I have already put 500 miles on it in a week and CAN'T STOP DRIVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone who has seen it, loves it and when my wife drives it off to work I get sick to my stomach! I was able to drive it on a two hour trip yesterday, there wasn't a cloud in the sky, temps were in the 70's and the windows were down and the radio up, (that is when I wasn't listening to the engine purr!). Someone came into the dealer the day before I signed for it and wanted to order one, so the salesman gave him my invioce and said this is what you want. I was proud of that!
Thanks to everyone on this site who gave me help when I was trying to get it here as early as possible and who let me vent when I needed to. Without you guys, I would have cetainly gone crazy!
She's already had to coats of wax and three baths! Had her tires spun in a nice broady and once it was broken in a little had her speedometer pegged. Now that that's out of my system, time to sit back and enjoy the ride!
The first words out of my 5 year old's mouth was, "Dad, when can I drive it!" I smiled and said "In oh about, 11 years!"

:banana2: Try to save the picture into a jpg format from whatever picture processing software you have. That should make it smaller for uploading. Saw someone else recommend using Paint to reduce size, but I don't know if that works or not.

Here she is the day I got her, next to my F150 I traded in for her. Hated to see the truck go, but the Stang was well worth it, especially after I filled the tank up the first time!!!!!

aponyfan, the wait is hard, but the first time you take her for a ride it all the agony goes away!
